Authentic European Style Pilsner 4.8% alc./vol. True to style in every regard, this authentic Czech-style Pilsner is truely unique in North America. The beer is brewed with an all imported Plisner malt, all Saaz hops and a true Czech yeast strain. The brewery uses only distilled water and remineralizes it to deliver an authentic taste every time. The bright golden pilsner is a full-bodied, refreshingly great tasting beer. It delivers a soft texture, complimented by the proper balance of malt and Saaz hops. Its flavour begins with a pleasing malty or bready taste but is sufficiently hopped to impart a dry bitter tang with a very clean finish. This is a very inviting beer that compliments many foods and has enough body to compliment even the heaviest of meals. This complex beer provides a more flavourful yet true to style option to some of the more popular imports. Consumers are quoted as saying "there is not a beer in Canada that tastes like King Pilsner", or "this beer tastes like the true Pilsners in Europe" King Pilsner is considered Ultra Premium because no expense is spared to produce this world-class beer. It is made with the best of ingredients, and most importantly the water is distilled and the mineral content adjusted to match the water table of the beers country of origin (in this case the Czech Republic). This provides a flavour profile that only the truest of Pilsners can match. These ingredients as well as King’s proprietary process delivers one of the best tasting beers in the world!

Excellent....simply excellent! The grassy notes of Steam Whistle with perhaps a smoother finish. Dare I say this may even go down smoother than a Steamer? An excellent and refreshing Pil!

I don’t know why I expected, or hoped, that this would be good. Actually I do. It’s all Freaky Tiki’s fault that I keep buying these mediocre pilsners, hoping in vain that I will stumble upon that elusive four-star pilsner of my dreams. Surely to god there must be one great example out there? At any rate, this is not it. Pour is pretty, but pretty typical. Quick-fading head and no retention. Nose of grain and corn and faint noble hops. Taste of grain and corn and mineral water, although it’s got a nice lingering bitterness. But it’s weirdly not that crisp. Being kind of flat doesn’t help. Overall I’m with Tiki: this stuff is ok.

went camping and my brother in law throws a brown paper bag at me filled with pint sized beers and says, "Nate went to Canada and brought these back for your rateBeer ticks." I paraphrased a little but you get the idea. It was skunky.

Can shared at a tasting at the Beer and Beyond shop. Thanks Excellent Little Brother! Hazy gold with white film. Grainy aroma with apparent sazz grassy hops. Grassy taste, delicate bitterness with hints of grainy sweetness that then disappears in favor of bitterness. Light body, delicate fizz, bitter finish.

This pils poured a slightly cloudy yellow colour with a quick living, bright white head. Scents include hops, corn, bread and grass. First swig was smooth with a slightly thin mouthfeel and flavours of perfume, bread and malt with a little corn. Finish is a little bitter with hop flavor flavor lingering.

473ml can. Pours a clear golden colour with a one and a half finger, fluffy white head that leaves great lacing. Mild carbonation rising. Aroma is pleasant with notes of grain, and some hop fruitiness. Taste is well balanced with notes of bready grain, traditional hops, and a mild aftertaste. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation. Slightly creamy texture in the mouth with a gentle carbonation. Overall I really like this. Good pilsner flavour paired with a great mouth feel and that looks great. Would gey again.

Can sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks kerenmk. Slightly hazy yellowish gold. Aroma of graininess, DMS and a bit of cardboard. Sweetish and grainy flavor, a bit corny, with a bitterish finish with a papery note. Quite light-bodied.

Slightly darker golden colour with a clear profile. Muted aroma, some dried hay and not much else in the nose. On the palate it is slightly sweet, has a hoppy finish and a weird mercaptan kinda butteryness. Not good.
