Dec 26, 2008 Pours with a quickly descending head and a orange/gold body. Aroma not too great some malts and grassy hops. Taste is pretty mediocre. Has some of the offensive tastes of a crappy pale lager. Otherwise there are grainy tastes.... a modicum of hops... and slight bitterness.

The look: Clear golden yellow body topped by a small white head
In long: Basic honeyed cereals and an appropriate dose of on dry grassy hops. Well balanced and relatively tasty. The beer is the crisp side of things. Far from a draught bohemians pilsner from Czech brewpubs this one reminded me of the few good bottled bohemians pilsner I’ve had. Extra clean (too clean) but still quite enjoyable if you like the style like I do. Looks like I’m the first one rating it, a strange feeling, much to my parent’s despair I’ve never been the first at anything.

Sep 30, 2008 Draught @ Winking Judge. Clear golden with small white head. Diacetyl aroma is unfortunate. Flavors are better. Some sweet grain and a sweet finish. Soft mouthfeel. Would have more character without all the diacetyl hanging about.

Big cereal malt aroma with background hops. Malty, buttery flavor, slightly fruity. Well-done Bohemian pilsner. Good balance, big malt, surprisingly hoppy finish.

I tried this beer on July 22, 2008 at the "Beer Bistro" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer was translucent, gold in colour, and had a thin white head. The aroma was biscuity malt, with a small amount of hoppy floralness. The mouthfeel was crisp, medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, a little fruity sweetness, and a small hoppish finish.

Jul 12, 2008 341 ml bottle from the LCBO. pours yellow with a nice everlasting white head. aromas are pale lager malts and some grassy hops. flavours are stunningly complex for a pils. very tight with bitterness coming from hops that i didnt pick up on in the nose. the flavours are big and bold in the mouth. i nice tight package. very very good for a pilsner.

Jul 7, 2008 Pours a light golden colour with decent carbonation and a proper white cap. The aroma is grain mostly, a little bit of grass, surprisingly very little hops. The flavour is very bready, with some good dry hoppy flavour in the middle, and a touch of honey at the end. All and all, a pretty good beer, on par with creemore’s attempt
