COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Authentic European Style Pilsner 4.8% alc./vol. True to style in every regard, this authentic Czech-style Pilsner is truely unique in North America. The beer is brewed with an all imported Plisner malt, all Saaz hops and a true Czech yeast strain. The brewery uses only distilled water and remineralizes it to deliver an authentic taste every time. The bright golden pilsner is a full-bodied, refreshingly great tasting beer. It delivers a soft texture, complimented by the proper balance of malt and Saaz hops. Its flavour begins with a pleasing malty or bready taste but is sufficiently hopped to impart a dry bitter tang with a very clean finish. This is a very inviting beer that compliments many foods and has enough body to compliment even the heaviest of meals. This complex beer provides a more flavourful yet true to style option to some of the more popular imports. Consumers are quoted as saying "there is not a beer in Canada that tastes like King Pilsner", or "this beer tastes like the true Pilsners in Europe" King Pilsner is considered Ultra Premium because no expense is spared to produce this world-class beer. It is made with the best of ingredients, and most importantly the water is distilled and the mineral content adjusted to match the water table of the beers country of origin (in this case the Czech Republic). This provides a flavour profile that only the truest of Pilsners can match. These ingredients as well as King’s proprietary process delivers one of the best tasting beers in the world!

500ml on tap at Town Crier.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with nice foamy white head. Extensive lacing.
Aroma : Malt and light grain. Crisp citrusy notes.
Taste : Malt and grain with light hops. Light bitterness.
Overall : Good pils. Refreshing and drinkable. Really nice looking. Could have a bit more character and a bit more hops. Vienna was better.

341 mL Bottle. In a blindfold test I feel I would have mistaken this one for an Austrian that lives up to its style as printed on the label. And then the .ca address ascertains its origins. Yellow-gold body with a thick rocky white head that clings to the glass with lots of lace. Grassy aroma with floral / fruity / yeasty / pecan notes. Light malts and grains stand out in the flavor with hints of pear and melon, hoppy - nutty aftertaste, and a mild bitter finish. Good work King Brewery! I’ll think about you next time I go to a party.

Bottle, brought from Kingston and shared by Robbie. Bright gold with a thick white head. Aroma is sweet grains, light grass. Sweetly grainy palate with subtle floral grassy hop character and a mildly bitter finish. A nice pils, although not as hoppy and a little sweeter than I like. Still tasty.

Bottle, pours light head, this is one of the best pilsners I have tried. Smells of your typical pilsner malts, tastes like them too but it has such a flavourful and smooth taste, this one is worth a try, recommended

Bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear very pale gold with a light white ring of foam. Aroma is perfumey, floral and spicy saaz hops. Malt somewhat absent. Slightly buttery in mouth, but it works thanks to a rather crisp, spicy bitterness. good balance, moderately high carbonation, light body. Decent.

Pours clear golden brown colour with little head that fades right away. Looks pretty carbonated. Tastes the same way. Not that great but I’m glad I tried it.
