COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Authentic European Style Pilsner 4.8% alc./vol. True to style in every regard, this authentic Czech-style Pilsner is truely unique in North America. The beer is brewed with an all imported Plisner malt, all Saaz hops and a true Czech yeast strain. The brewery uses only distilled water and remineralizes it to deliver an authentic taste every time. The bright golden pilsner is a full-bodied, refreshingly great tasting beer. It delivers a soft texture, complimented by the proper balance of malt and Saaz hops. Its flavour begins with a pleasing malty or bready taste but is sufficiently hopped to impart a dry bitter tang with a very clean finish. This is a very inviting beer that compliments many foods and has enough body to compliment even the heaviest of meals. This complex beer provides a more flavourful yet true to style option to some of the more popular imports. Consumers are quoted as saying "there is not a beer in Canada that tastes like King Pilsner", or "this beer tastes like the true Pilsners in Europe" King Pilsner is considered Ultra Premium because no expense is spared to produce this world-class beer. It is made with the best of ingredients, and most importantly the water is distilled and the mineral content adjusted to match the water table of the beers country of origin (in this case the Czech Republic). This provides a flavour profile that only the truest of Pilsners can match. These ingredients as well as King’s proprietary process delivers one of the best tasting beers in the world!

341 ml bottle from the LCBO. Not a typical pilsner for me. A good amount of hops. I will buy this again.

Bottle - 341ml. Bland blond body with a thin white foamy head. Boring malty/hoppy aroma with some light herbal and bready hints. Decent taste slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. Ends with a short bitter/herbal finish. Ordinary.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2013 For a Pilsner it is not bad. I mean i guess I am never going to find a Pilsner that scores really high for me as they just always lacking that extra taste. But when comparing Pilsner to another Pilsner it is probably better then most.

Super pale pour with a thin head. Aroma of sugar. Some cereal. Bitter finish that is crisp and clean. Medium mouth. Burns a bit.

Pretty good for a pilsner. Head dissipates quickly. Pours slightly hazy but light gold in colour. Strong grassy aroma. Taste starts out sharp and ends mellow with a good aftertaste of the hops.

bottle. Gold colour, very small head. Aroma mostly of grains, some metallic hops. Taste is more malt than hop, grains and grass, slightly bitter finish. Sessionable, decent, nothing to write home about.

341ml Bottle. Drank at Canada’s Wonderland pub. Aroma: Caramel, bread, cereals, hints of roasted nuts and herbs, slightly woody. Appearance: a dark copper robe, sparkling with a light offwhite/cream head. It’s a clear but dark robe, with ruby highlights. Taste: It’s hoppy and bitter, a nice bitter taste... Palate: Medium body, with a slick texture. Feels astringent, quite refreshing on a warm sunny day like I had it. Overall I was surprised and happy of my choice. I will order again, since they only serve Coors and other insipid beer otherwise. This is better than water, you shall be happily surprised as well I believe. Give it a try, it’s worth it.

Nice saaz hops nose. Kind of pale-looking, even for a pilsner. Just the right amount of hop bitterness for a pilsner. Not quite enough malt to round it out. A good session beer

341ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a finger of white head that settles quickly leaving no lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy hops and cereal grains. Taste is sharp hoppy bitterness with grassy and metallic notes and an underlying malty sweetness. Light bodied and lightly carbonated. Labelled as premium pilsner, but really not much better than any typical macro brew.
