341 mL Bottle. In a blindfold test I feel I would have mistaken this one for an Austrian that lives up to its style as printed on the label. And then the .ca address ascertains its origins. Yellow-gold body with a thick rocky white head that clings to the glass with lots of lace. Grassy aroma with floral / fruity / yeasty / pecan notes. Light malts and grains stand out in the flavor with hints of pear and melon, hoppy - nutty aftertaste, and a mild bitter finish. Good work King Brewery! I’ll think about you next time I go to a party.

Purchased a 6-pack of this at the LCBO. Second brew tried from this brewery. Says "Ultra Premium Beer" on top label and box (did not know that something could be more than premium). Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy white cap that gives out loads of lacing. Nice grainy sweet malt nose. Decent medium-bodied with a little dryness, a little crispiness and well-balanced with some wetness. The hop shows up more in the taste. Not as sweet as the aromas, grainy with beautiful grass and slight bitterness in the finish. A really good Canadian Pilsner that is pretty close to most good Euro ones.

On tap. Trying to be kind to a genre I don’t love... Clear straw pour, high carbonation, quick white head. Yup it’s a pilsner. Grass and straw, kind of bready aftertaste. Aroma and flavour mirror one another. It’s refreshing and put out the fire on my jalapeno laced sausage. Light, bubbly, inoffensive. Not that I hate this. It is what it is, and many people like it. There’s better pilsners, but obviously some effort has been put in and it’s better than many. Drink 10 of them on a hot day, or with hot food. Just watch out for the gas.

pours clear light golden with a decent white frothy head, some retention and lacing. grainy, light tropicalness, citrusy herbal, lightly sweet malts. decent peppery-grapefruity-pilsner-like finish, medium body, average to soft carbonation. more than decent pils.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is grain and malt. Taste is a fresh, crisp malt forward pilsner. Good beer.

Six pack from LCBO. Pours cloudy golden, very nice hoppy aroma. Nice balance of malt & hops. Solid pilsner.

Really impressed by beer considering its domestic. It tastes very European. Nice bitter taste and crispness. Only complaint is that head disappears fast.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours golden yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of straw, muted malt. Flavour is crisp and somewhat bitter. This is decent.

not sure about the high ratings here. this one smelled horrible from the get go, tasted a little better with hint of bitterness but nothing ill order again for premium prices...

500ml on tap at Town Crier.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with nice foamy white head. Extensive lacing.
Aroma : Malt and light grain. Crisp citrusy notes.
Taste : Malt and grain with light hops. Light bitterness.
Overall : Good pils. Refreshing and drinkable. Really nice looking. Could have a bit more character and a bit more hops. Vienna was better.
