3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 AGAquino (654) - San Juan, PUERTO RICO - APR 2, 2013
Winding down from a night at Indie Ale House and Bellwoods Brewery. Unpretentious, well made, refreshing and flavourful.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Reimer96 (590) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 24, 2013
Pours a clear copper color with a fluffy off-white head that leaves a bunch of lace. Aroma of rich vienna malts, caramel, lightly toasted and clean lager characteristic. Taste is malt complexity up front with lightly toasted vienna malts and a dry finish. The caramel present in this beer isn’t too style and overall it’s a bit too clean and astringent.

On tap. Clear dark gold with a white fizzy head. Aroma is caramel malt, slight biscuit, grass. Watery mouthfeel. Grain grass and honey. Makes it sound better than it is, but all and all, it’s a decent lager with a little added character from the sweetness and grass. Well done for a style im not crazy about. I ordered it because I was thirsty and it didn’t disappoint. Could have 6 of these on a hot day.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Viper666 (2696) - Saint-Hubert, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 21, 2012
Bouteille 341ml.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Boutip (3971) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 21, 2012
Bottle: Poured a light clear copper color Vienna with a medium foamy head with good carbonation and some light lacing. Aroma of biscuit malt with light caramel malt is good. Taste is dominated by light dry caramel malt with light gain notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nothing really special here.
2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 gilvanblight (678) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 17, 2012
Clear coppery slightly red pour without much head. Strong ’beer smell’ Very generic, lager, smells like a beer smell. Distinct mouth I didn’t expect from the nose. Light, dry and easy to drink. Some floral tastes in the middle that comes quick and fades quick. Bit of lingering hopps in the aftertaste. Not bad at all. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing really stands out either.

Bottle. Light chestnut appearance. Enlivening aromas of strawberry and plum plus a vague chocolate background. Surprisingly bready flavour profile lacks refreshment, ending the bottle in disappointment.

[bottle]
Grain and toasted malt aroma with some faint apricot and apple and a very slight touch of ethanol. Clear amber under a thick, off-white ring. Toasty and very malty flavour with faint cardboard and a clean dry finish. Low bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, very slight bitter finish.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 pintbypint (1975) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 1, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2012 341ml brown bottle. Gold and clear in the glass. The head is large and white with decent lace rings. Nose has sweet malt with some light fruitiness. Taste is fairly clean, grassy notes, grain and light bread, light caramel. Finish has light grains and grassy bite. Light body with medium carb. Overall light and drinkable, but I prefer their Pils.
