Pour golden orange off white head. Aroma caramel, malty sweet, noble hops, quite sweet. Taste sweet grain, cereal, barley, biscuit/bready, grassy, nice finishing bitterness. MF medium to light crisp body. Overall after a mediocre aroma hits with a nice flavorful beer with good MF well done.

Sampled at Toronto Festival of Beer. Reddish-copper. Toasty malts, nuts, floral hops. Lightly sweet and dry. Clean and easy-drinking.

On tap at WVRST - part of a tasting set. Also had it on tap at beer bistro in the same night. A ruby amber pour with a solid malty aroma. The taste is bready caramel and pretty smooth. Alright.

[bottle] Grain and toasted malt aroma with some faint apricot and apple and a very slight touch of ethanol. Clear amber under a thick, off-white ring. Toasty and very malty flavour with faint cardboard and a clean dry finish. Low bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, very slight bitter finish.

On tap. Clear dark gold with a white fizzy head. Aroma is caramel malt, slight biscuit, grass. Watery mouthfeel. Grain grass and honey. Makes it sound better than it is, but all and all, itís a decent lager with a little added character from the sweetness and grass. Well done for a style im not crazy about. I ordered it because I was thirsty and it didnít disappoint. Could have 6 of these on a hot day.

This lager poured a nice medium amber colour with a off white, smooth head. Scents include ripe fruit, malt, tea and hops. First taste was nice and smooth. Quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavours of light raisin (or other ripened fruit?), bread and a tiny bit of smoke. Finish is really nice with a light bitterness and hop/malt flavor lingering.

Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev. Pours a clear golden-amber with a small white head. Nice aroma of caramel malt, fruit and bit of toffee. Slightly watery flavour of grain, caramel malt and light grassy hops. Average bodied. Pretty good, a well done version of a style I enjoy.

On tap at Beer Bistro. Slightly reddish tinge body with some lace. Great malt aroma. Dryish lager, balanced and easy drinking. Bang on for the style.

341 ml bottle. Pours rich amber colour, with small white head. Aroma and taste are mildly malty and bitter, maybe a little on the sweet side of balanced. Iíd say right on the style.

341ml Bottle: A fresh bottle straight from the brewery, Iím not even sure if you can buy these outside of the brewery as of yet. Pours a nice amber colour, ever so light streams of carbonation and what started as a pretty bountiful off-white head that quickly dissipated from my King glass. The aroma is heavy in that grainy, straw-like sweetness with elements of peach and lemon, much like I usually find out of the King Pils. Taste is reasonable enough, nice and biscuity, that light citrus freshness doing its job to balance and cut the crisp grainy notes. No doubt itís a King, but Iíd have to say it doesnít quite reach my affinity levels for their others. Decent job, true to style.
