Bottle@The Bank, Streatham, London - (My first Cambodian Rate!) clear yellow pour with a tiny white head. Aroma and taste is grassy and floral, grainy, bready malts, straw, crisp and light on the palate, medium to light in body, with a clean crisp finish. Pleasantly surprised by this.

ALLOVATE (2624) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 16, 2015
Bottle from an off-license in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Pours quite lifeless with no head and just a bubble or two of carbonation rising to bleach out. Palest gold edging yellow and translucent to the ?nth. Nose is fresh, raw and heightened by soft herbal and floral notes hinting at pot pourri just before the aromas exhausted. Grassy with a noble hop presence making it earthy and spicy, clean. Nutty, spiced and woody on the palate. Malty with a hint of biscuit and toasted grain. Hops are subdued despite the fragrant aroma but offer a clean spice and mild bitterness melding well with the malt. An enjoyable pilsner. (33cL, bottled 12/02/15, 322, Phnom Penh)

Bottle. Clear pale yellow with a medium sized white head. Better than I expected. Some flowery hops, honey, grain, light dusty. Not too sweet, fairly drinkable. Ok for what it is.

330ml bottle bought in siem reap. Pours clear gold with no head. Aroma is of malts and barley. Taste is malts, slightly bitter, not too carbonated. A little fruity on the finish. Not bad at all for Cambodia.

From a bottle. Not much of an aroma, a bit bland but much better than the other local beer.
