Countbeer (4367) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - AUG 18, 2014
Bottle: Served in a taster: Medium sized white head on top of a clear golden (yellow) colored beer. Aromas of sweet malts, light hops, light honey, light lacto and cream touch, some iron/metallic and some crisp herbs. Clean aroma, very nice! Flavour is a mix of herbs, bitters, some malts, some cardboard, bit creamy, light grainy, some hay and meal. Aftertaste is hay, bitter, cream, grains and some herbs. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, low to medium bodied and a light creamy texture. Fine beer!

Bottle, pours gold with a small white head, aroma is sweet malt, taste is also sweet malt, no real bitterness, but is typical pale lager, predictable and boring.

330 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a medium, off-white head. Sweet aroma of malt, corn, fruit and a hint of caramel. Sweet fruity flavour with malt, corn and a bitter hoppy finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Above average for a lager.

650 ml bottle at several location in India. Clear golden body with a white head. Light grainy aroma. Flavor is rather week, mild malty, grainy and not much bitterness. The first sips feels quite refreshing when served ice cold together with spicy food a warm day, but turns out rather boring and one dimensional before you hit the bottom of the bottle. Thin body and short aftertaste. I imagine that the Shepard Neame version is slightly more interesting with a hint of floral/grassy hops bit it’s difficult to tell with no parallel testing.

Tap in an Indian place in san diego pours pale yellow hue with a small fizzy white head and sparse lacing. Nose is sweet adjunct cream corn and grains. Some cereal shows up in tbe flavors with some cream corn as well. Very sweet and grainy finish. Cool I got to have an Indian brew!
