1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
33cl bottle at Indian restaurant in HD. "Brewed under licence by Kaiserdom Spezialitäten Bamberg." Ouch, Franconia! Brewed according to the RHG, yessir jawohl. The annunciated near-corn, but apparently not-corn sweetness develops into nothing, the tongue now aflush with aspartame cardboard and spent grain. The eternal circle of thirst recommences, thank krishna and that korma lamb!

Besides the apparent exotic origin, this beer has nothing to offer which would make you enthousiastic about. It’s drinkable, I wouldn’t pour it, but here it stops. And when you think that it’s finally brewed by Heineken in the UK, why should I buy it then...?

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle 50 cl @ La Porte des Indes, London. A decent lager, not bad. Went well with the nice dish Kari de Mouton.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear dark amber with a long-lasting white head, broken curtain of lace. Nice aroma of floral hops. Taste is mild malt that becomes slightly bitter as it moves through the palate, only to become more sweet as the finish lingers. A really simple brew, but I can drink it, especially with Indian food that is high in burn-your-mouth hot. Certainly not complex, but it is faithful to what it is.

I really can’t come up with one good thing to say about this simple lager. Started bad and got worse. The only feature: it was cold and wet and i was eating curryr
