Had the Kingfisher that was bottled at Mendocino in Saratoga Springs, NY. Light, golden pour. Grainy smell. Bitter grains and a touch of citrus hops in the taste. Not a great beer.

12 oz bottle form Doggin’ It in Pittsburgh. Mediocre at best and outside of a pairing with Indian cuisine it’s nothing to write on about. Some skunkiness detected which others would fail to note due to its subtlety. Had higher hopes for this one.

Light gold , lacking head. Some light malt on the nose, but not much else. When cold, there is a light malt sweetness. Attempt at hop finish. When cold this will serve as beer, but pretty one dimensional.

I had fond memories of this from drinking it in Indian restaurants years ago. Boy, was I disappointed to try it again. Aroma suggested bread to me at first, with citrus following... no skunkiness. Color is pale yellow, with no credible attempt at a head. Taste and mouth-feel? Ugh. Flat and industrial. OK to wash down strong Indian food, but on its own I had to force myself to finish it.

Aroma is grains and some grittiness. The flavor is grainy and slightly dirty in flavor. About what I expected.

Oxidate gold from bottle, terse froth as light grassy, somewhat pungent aroma wafts upwards. Not much in way of length, bitter hops at tail offers an albeit small, degree of grace. Easy drinking if yet unremarkable.

355 mL bottle, party rate. Aroma has some decent caramel malt character...but as with most green bottled beers, it has a moderately skunky nose. Taste also has a lot of caramel for a pale lager, but again is skunky. I wish I could have tried this in a can.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Gut Hopfig aromatisch, sehr herb. Komischer Teil. Weder gut, noch schlecht.

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours golden with a slightly lacy, white head. Aroma of pale and some light bready/grainy malts plus light floral hops. Flavor about the same. Light. A standard pale lager.

13/II/2012 33cl bottle @ Salt ’n Pepper (Gent) - BB: X/12 (2012-121)

Clear golden to orange beer, small unstable white head, dissipates to small rim. Aroma: sweet, overripe fruits, apple sauce. MF: low carbon, light to medium body. Taste: dirty malts, overripe fruits, nasty bitterness. Aftertaste: sweet, dirty malts. Pretty yuk.
