A fully matured beer with an exceptional clarity, and has a pleasantly bitter taste.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2008 22oz Bottle poured into glass, Smells of grass and marihuana. Possibly due to being skunked by sitting out in the open lights of Beers of the World. A golden opaque appearance, whitish head. Flavor is similar to the aroma in which it tastes of marihuana. Good balance of malts and hops. The palate is thin and carbonated. Overall this beer pairs well with spicy foods, and I would recommend it to those looking for a thirst quenching brew.

A bland unexciting beer. Probably only good on a hot day when the beer is ice cold so you can’t taste it. Although I do have to say that it quenched the fire in my mouth caused by the Indian food at the restaurant, so some bonus points there.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with bubbly white head. Aroma actually has a bit of grassy hoppiness, beneath is grain and apple. Flavor is pleasant light graininess followed upby adjunct and a strange fruity sweetness to it. Some pretty good bitterness in the finish. Obviously they used some hop extract here. Tastes industrial, but definitely not flavorless. Palate is full and a little oily. Ok, as far as industrial asian lagers go.

Tasted like a loght beer. Not much body or flalor. Nice head. Little charcter. A lot like drinking water. But I was thirtsy, so it was good.

Had a few bottles of this on my way through india. Not top notch but drinkable if you find a beer wallah that has ice or a fridge that is actually plugged in.

Bottled 33cl. A golden beer with a quick diminishing white head. The nose is mainly of earthy hops. Biscuity with a hint of lemon. Slightly sour taste. Light bodied and rather bitter. Earthy hops accompanied by a touch of lemon. Leafy with a hint of rice. A leafy hint in the finish which is surprisingly hoppy, dry and bitter. Interesting.

Gold. Sweet malty aroma and taste. The bitterness at the end was like the bitter-sweetness you get in artificial sweeteners like aspartame. Pretty revolting. Having said that, I then consumed my takeaway Indian meal (Chicken Pathia, Tarka Dhal and Aloo Gobi) and afterwards this stuff tasted a whole lot better.

660ml bottle at Mother India in Oslo. Clear and bright golden body. Fast diminishing white head. Faint smell of brown rice. Dry and sweet hops are present in the taste, especially when it warms up. Watered palate. Alright with spicy indian food (Oslo,12.02.2008).
