A fully matured beer with an exceptional clarity, and has a pleasantly bitter taste.

12oz at Raj Mahal; Went really well with the food. No head, no real color, smelled like a PBR. Fizzy glass of nothing.

12 oz bottle via Cost Plus World Market. Not much in the nose, some staleness and grains, and pepper. Pours a crystal clear gold with a small white head. Almost no taste at all. Some yeast, barley. Thin body. Watery. Down the drain.

Bottle. Just a standard pale lager, nothing exciting. Fine to drink with Indian food but did nothing special to complement the food.

Tasted this at the same time as I tasted Taj Mahal and really couldnít tell much of a difference. Flavor is much along the lines of an American light.

Has a very sweet, floral aroma with hints of toasted bread. Thick, frothy white head of two fingers, nice lacing with light golden, slightly carbonated body. Bittersweet, floral malted barley flavor with lingering metallic aftertaste. Palate is somewhat watery and lacking in character. Iím surprised at this beer falling under the category of a ípale lagerí since it has more characteristics in common with an IPA. I love a bitter beer but this one has too much ífunkí to make it enjoyable. Itís not that this beer is bad, itís just that itís not very good.

The flavour is round, mild, slightly sweet with weak and brief notes of flower and fruit. The bitterness is moderate. Thirst quenching, and thatís about it...

Nothing special about the aroma. Light gold color with very little head. Not very flavorful. Just a bit of honey. Fairly average mouthfeel with malty intro and slightly bitter finish. The only impressive thing about this beer is how long it has been brewed. Typical american lager.
