Run of the mill beer. Nothing good about it but the flavor isn't offensive. Mild bitterness at the most.

Second-best (?) of the Indian beers that I have tasted. Not so good. Given that I own Mendocino Brewing common stock, that is a strong statement...

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Only purpose this serves is to quench the fires from a spicy Indian dish. Generic lager from the Generic Beer Recipe cookbook, executed poorly.

Much like Sapporo in a sushi bar, the Indian restaurants tend to push this "homebrew". There is a bit of bitterness to it, but three days after tasting one, I am hard pressed to remember anything exceptional about it.

1.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Upon initial bottle opening, very skunky aroma. Gets slightly better on taste, with only a slight hoppiness. Somewhat light in texture. Mediocre.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bad. Real bad. Skunky, sour taste. Would have been a drainpour, but I'm too cheap to waste beer in most cases. Don't even think about this swill.

A friend of mine gave me this from India (along with a Taj Mahal). Can't say I'm impressed. Pretty bland, not much flavor or color.

Bottled, pasteurised. Pale yellow with gassy head. Overcarbonated malt beer with little flavour or character. Used to wash down a curry rather than tap water, both would have done.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
This one poured a pee yellow with next to no head. I walked from one room to another and smelt nothing but a skunks ass. Green bottle turned this one to mush. Taste isn't so skunky but is lacking everything. Watery from the beginning to end. Has almost no taste at all! Finish is .....blah!

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Brewed in the UK. Light hop aroma rises as the cap is poppped off. Gold in colour with a good starting head which leaves a dish soap like lacing. Moderately dry and light hopped flavour that finishes with a lasting slightly skunky edge (green bottle?). Innocent enough for washing down spicy food perhaps but not entirely agreeable.
