Bottle. Brewed under licence. Looked ok when first poured, but head died away VERY quickly, good colour thoí Average palate, grassy nose, rather bland really..suppose it would be ok with a curry, had this when I was cooking pasta!

I had several FRESH bottles of this while I was in India last week (March, 2005). Tastes very much like a cheap American standard, though without the strong corn sweetness that ours usually has. Weak, no bitterness, no aftertaste. Not very good fresh, so I would advise drinking it in the states where it might be old and stale.

GREEN bottle poured yellow with a decent head and lacing. Aroma is malt and corn. Flavor is sweet, malty and metalic on the finish. Not toooo bad.

This is OK, but just not interesting, not compelling, not distinctive enough. I liked it well enough, but I just donít care to have it again. Plus, the ABV is only 4.8% so chances are I shanít have this one again.

Drink this with spicy Indian food. It works well to wash down the curry, but donít even think about this beer on its own. Its a bland lager with no real surprises. Crystal clear, no head.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2014 Can. 4.8%. Best before 17.06.15. Brewed at Kaiserdom Specialitšten Braurei Bamberg. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head. Good lacing. Slight citrusy tart aroma, with a light hop note and a remote plastic note. Sweetish as it warms. Further warming brings out a pecualiar note, which I canít put my finger on, but which seem to be a mixture of light notes of hay and cardboard interwoven with maybe some yeast, dark fruit and rubber. Maybe. Not really doing it for me though. Flavour is sweetish and a bit tart, with hops and a light plastic note. Bitter finish, with a hint of the same peculiar note as in the aroma, and a lingering tart note. Grainy note as it warms. A bit too much carbonation. Overall better than I expected, if nothing special, but considerably better than the last time I rated it; however, I donít know if it was made by the same brewery back then, not if it was a licensed brew at all. 03.10.14.

Bottle. Pale, pale yellow coloured with a fast disappearing white head. Dominant citrus aroma. Flavour is... well, peculiar. Tar-like, I think. This works in dark beers, but not in a pale lager. A bit of a surprise, though. Watery palate.

Golden color and minimal head. Skunky aroma. Sweet malty flavor typical of this style, slightly bitter finish, but not in a pleasant way. Drinkable, and relatively innoffensive, but not one to drink often (if ever again).

FROTHINGSLOSH, the rater immediately prior to me for this "beer," echoes my sentiments: "This was my first and last time trying this beer." Golden and headless, it smells like a skunk eating cotton candy. A touch of malts and corn syrup hit the tongue, and then itís coated with a sweet metallic bitterness. If you donít want to drain pour this one, drink it fast. Very fast.
