33 cl bottle. Pale copper color with close to none white head. Pretty marginal aromas and clear bitterness which is quite pills like. No body, no soul and nothing special.

Bottle. Standard, boring, but relatively drinkable lager well fulfilling its likely objective of washing down spicy indian dishes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 1C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L4194 07:12. AROMA: grainy and slightly sweet malt aroma with some faint hop aroma. no diacetil or DMS. APPEARANCE: light gold color and translucent. thin white head with average retention. TASTE: slightly sweet malt flavour, balanced with some bitterness. very faint to no hop flavour. sweet finish. PALATE: light body with low carbonation. OVERALL: a pale lager with an interesting taste but too much dilluted.

Ikkle nogen stor øl efter min smag. Ordinær og kedelig, men nu er den smagt.

Copenhagen 20/9 2014. Can 50 cl from Kvickly. Pours clear light yellow with substantial white head which steadily subsides. Neutral aroma. Salty and a little malty. Prickly mouthfeel. Very bland taste dominated by malts. Overall a very standard massproduced lager beer. Will need a solid butter chicken in order to have any eligibility. But a very beautiful can helps a little bit.

0,33 bottle. Clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is malty with metallic hint. Light sweet taste with refreshing bitterness. It isn’t great beer, but quite refreshing and drinkable.

Patrickctenchi (4398) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - FEB 22, 2015
Bottle: Pours hazy yellow gold with a large, off-white head. Slightly lemony, sour grain malt aroma. Taste is grain malt, a little citrus....slight breadiness. Grassy/metallic bitter. Not completely awful.....but neither is it exactly pleasant.

Alengrin (2742) - BELGIUM - FEB 20, 2015
India’s national standard lager, often served in Indian restaurants, but since I don’t frequent those very often, I bought a bottle online for this rating. Densely packed, moussy, lightly yellowish white head with delicate and steady lacing, retaining well; colour pale golden blonde, cristal clear with vivid sparkling. Aroma lightstruck as expected (’skunked’, like stale cat pee), sourish grains (rice!), iron, hint of grass, stale sweat, minerally bubble water (soda) but not much else. Sourish start of rice, further enhanced by the fizzy carbonation, some bready, sweetish malts echoeing but very lightly so, metallic middle with thin and somewhat watery mouthfeel, bitterishness accompanying the palate almost from the start, grassy and earthy, but remaining subdued the whole time; finish shows both the sourishness and the bitterishness, equally subtle. Very light and thin, with the clear presence of rice as in many other tropical lagers, especially those from Asia. Drinkable, but I had better Asian lagers.

Yellow/golden colour with a small white head. Aromas of straw, grass and corn dominate. Lightly carbonated, thin texture and light body. Mainly offering a light bit snappy hop bitterness. Short finish.
