DandyWolfFloyd (225), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 13, 2008 Had this at a beer festival. This is shockingly awful. Its aroma isn’t bad, but not sure what it is, maybe some kind of spice. Appearance is flat, yellow and clean. Flavor is a definite one, it tasted like dish soap, I didn’t know that was possible, this was one of the most awful tastes I ever had. I am very confused, this could have been due to an unusual yeast formula, either way very bad. Palate was astringent and unpleasant.
AWS9 (123), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Thin, with a light trace of hops. That’s really all I can say about it, meh. Wasn’t offensive by any means at least. FlssmrBrewAlum (194), South Chicago Suburbs, Illinois, USA Aug 17, 2008 12 oz. bottle courtesy of the 6 pack a friend brought to a beer tasting. Hmmmm. Pours a light golden hue with a prominent bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Aromas are largely skunky, with touches of sweet malts. Taste is similar, with the skunk more muted. A decent lager, I guess. My friend told me that this is much better in India than in a bottle not in India. I believe him. Middle of the road macro-ish lager. iammarc (174), Inverness, Scotland Aug 13, 2008 Bottle, local Indian. Skunky aroma. Required to help a hot curry go down. A bit pish. Borresteijn (427), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 12, 2008 Bottle @ Indian restaurant. Watery lager, skunky hops, malty. Drinkable, not very good.
