2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The beer has a simple pilsener look. The color of the beer is a light golden yellow. The beer doesn’t pour a lot of foam and the foam that is poured is white and rough. The beer is very clear and is as easy to see trough as water. The beer fizzles happily. The smell is quite mild. I do smell some bready malt aromas combined with a fresh hop aroma. However, the aromas aren’t very strong. The taste is stronger luckiky. It even is quite nice. I taste some bitter fresh hops and some bready malt tones. The beer has a fresh touch to it, which I believe to be nice in a hot country such as India. The beer is nice, but not very special. It’s just regular pilsener, a good weapon against thirst.

Blonde à la carbo modérée et à la mousse qui disparaît rapidos. Très légère, petit goût mielleux en fin de bouche. Bref, de la Kro indienne avec plein de cochonneries dans la liste des ingrédients.

Bottle. Grains, metal and grass notes both, in aroma and in flavor. Maybe some more bread/toast notes than in other premium lagers. India is not the place to find good beer.

From bottle in shaker. Clear golden brew with modest aroma. Crisp and mild, a typical, interchangeable macrolager.

Har en del sødme og let humlet. Den er ikke syrlig som mange billige pilsnere ofte er.

Unappealing but not offensive aroma of light tinned corn, bread and cardboard. Very watery body with typical macro lager flavours and a cardboard back end. The one redeeming feature about this flavourless slosh is that it didn’t distract from the awesome flavours of the Goat Handi I drank it with.

330 ml bottle from Lidl, bb 30.09.16.
Pale golden, crystal clear body, with a big, frothy, moderately lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of cardboard, corn, grains, some bread, malt sweetness.
Tastes of grains, flowers, cereals, bread, some herbs, some honey, some corn.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes quite light, grainy, a bit bready, a bit herbal, a bit sweet, with some cereals.
Average macro lager. The nose is quite unpleasant, with dominant cardboard and corn notes. Taste is a bit better, clean and quite crisp, although flat. Nothing special at all, but not the worst pale lager I’ve had.
