3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Cletus (6064) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 12, 2006
Bottle brought back from India courtesy of my brother-in-law. Pours gold with a white head. Smells of citrus, bitter hops, malt and peppery. Taste is citrussy with some sweet malt underneath. Not bad for what it is. Definitely not a malt liquor.

poured a darker yellow than the lighter kingfisher w/ some decent white head that laced very well. the smell was a little stronger still hints of grain now add some actual malt and hints of alcohol too. Palate was pretty avg. Flavor was of a weak carmel malt a tiny brush of hops hints of corn and some apple cider and some alcohol.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jaghana (2110) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - JUN 30, 2010

Bottled (bottled 7 nov 2005). Yellowish golden colour, big white bubbly head, lacing. Strong malty and hoppy nose with hints of sweeet caramel and some alcohol. Also some grain noteable. Flavour is sweetish malts along with hoppy finish. Feels very fresh in flavour. It might be true what Tbone_ wrote that this should be had as freshware. Mine got it from the shop with a friend and then flight to Finland. Alcohol probably at around 5-6% I would guess. Also some weak hints of maize.

Had this one in Singapore back in October 2007 in an Indian restaurant that wood fired their tandoori This resulted in a heavy smokey athomosphere but I remember a malty aroma. The drink was clear golden with a white head. Did a good job of covering the alcohol taste and was easily drunk. Worked really well with Indian courses of which we had several.

Bottled. A golden beer with a fast disappearing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and alcohol - very simple. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and alcohol, leading to an alcoholic finish. Thanks madsberg for this beer.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 can8ianben (1102) - Souderton, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 1, 2007
At first it struck me as a classic international lager - pale, fizzy, with lots of pale lager aroma. The taste is a little harsher however with a bit more bite and citrus mouthfeel. More bitter than most, but not in a good way. Can’t really get the alcohol, impresively 8 %. Thanks to my sis for bringing me back a sample from India!
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 TBone (9433) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 19, 2005
Bottled 650ml (ABV between 5.25-8.0, bottled 31.1.05)
Honey golden color, small white head. Aroma of alcohol, apple peels and cider. Sweet malty, apple-like flavor. Hints of alcohol. Warming sweetish finish. Indian version of East European malt liquer, not so bad than it sounds. You just have to get fresh enough sample.
