Pours light brown with no noticeable head. Taste is of rosted malts and chocolate with some raisins.

Tan average size head, fades quick. No lacing. Aroma is mixed. Something not so good, then some sweet grape malt. The 7.4 % ABV is well hidden but I still don’t care for the beer. Too sweet and the aroma is just not good.

22 oz bottle, damn how did an out-of-stater get the first review on this? Thinnish-looking in the pour, dark brown, little head. Nice roastiness in the nose, chocolate and some grapes and prunes. Very thick on the tongue, enormously malty with that massive roastiness you'd expect. Sweetness is a little too reminiscent of grape juice, and it's just a bit cloying, but this is an interesting initial effort from Vermont's newest brewer.

Pours a dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma is sweet and plum-like with some grainy roasted character. Body has a syrupy texture and the malty sweetness to go along with it and good complexity. Finishes dry and a little off-tasting, but hides its alcohol well. A nice beer from an up and coming brewer.
