COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Has also been available bottle conditioned.
An Oatmeal Stout derived from an 19th century recipe using Black and Amber Malts.
Ingredients: Maris Otter pale malt, crystal malt, black malt, oats. First Gold and Fuggles hops.

Cask, Leicester Beer Fest 05. Very dark brown with a small head. Aromas are sweet with coffee roast malts and some earthiness. Flavours are coffee with soft oatiness. Dry with some light fruitiness. Hints of salt. Decent.

Cask@Leicester Beer Festival. Plain looking dark beer with a lightly coffee aroma and a slightly bitter and malty flavour that cancels each other out. Overall a plain stout.

Gravity At The Ipswich Winter Festival.Black in colour with a small lasting head.Aroma of chocolate and malt,good roasted malt and biscuit flavours,this was very nice.
