bottle, bought at the Tower of London. Poured hazy gold with a thinning white head. The aroma is kinda bland, light & grassy with a bit of yeast. Texture is flat but a medium-heavy mouthfeel. Bready malt base with a peppery flavour, a sour-citrus note. HIghly dry bitter finish.

Hazy golden colour, with a nice white head. Aroma of hops, bread, hay and grass. Very sour, and medium to heavy bitterness. Quite bitter aftertaste. Soft carbonation. A okey bitter, but a bit to sour for me.

Golden coloured, moderate carbonation with a thin white head. Wheaty, but also slightly smoky. Suprisingly not bad considering its a cheap re-brand.

500ml bottle (Hampton Court Palace Shop)
6 Sweet fruity aroma.
3 Mid orange, brief head.
7- Sweet malty base, some wooliness too. Fruitiness segues into a lovely bitter hoppiness.
4 Simple palate, carbonation low. Finish deliciously hoppy and bitter, with an almost minty coolness in the tingle.
13 Lots packed into 4.2% - easy enough to drink that you can chug if you want, but with a real bitter bite that keeps it interesting

Some friends brought this back from their trip to London. Pours brilliant copper, but with no head at all. Smells kinda biscuity, with some citrus notes. Nicely quaffable - sweet at first, the a nice crisp finish. Not complicate, but tasty. Is it supposed to be flat?

50 cl bottle thanks to my brother!
On March 2, 2010, BB MAR 2010.

Clear copper color, smallish large bubbled white head. Subtle, malty sweet, fruity hoppy scent. Hints of phenoles as well. Smooth, bitter, hoppy, fruity, a bit malty taste. Bitterness is very evident, almost overpowering the maltiness, but doesn’t quite take it away. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, nothing spectacular, but also nothing bad about it. Low co2 though, so not spritzy more easy to drink version. Fairly high bitterenss, though after a few sips you’ve gotten used to it so it’s more balanced again. All in all, a nice beer, very drinkable, but perhaps not one that will stand out among the many thousands I’ve sampled. But for a session beer it works perfectly! So drink on my friends, drink on.
