I was told this is "About 5 per cent" but don’t go on that. Pint is dark brown with creamy off white head. Aroma and flavor are nuty and fruity with a small tang of apple-cherry tartness to set off the sweet malts. Cream cheese? Solid hop bitterness support but doesn’t dominate, and hint of toffee tries to poke through. Far from a session ale, too strong and densely fruity but a good interesting ale nonetheless.

This is the non-cask version of the real ale. Seems like a very simple beer taste was alright but with the other selections I would not buy this one.
