Draught at the brewpub. Seemingly hazy amber colour. Good stable creamy white head. The flavour is earthy, hint of grain. Low carbonation.

Bright burnished amber; thin, creamy head. Light grassy, mossy character. Buttery body with a hint of acidity. Dryish, vaguel malty finish.

Cask conditonned or nitro pour???...nice nutty nose, thick nitro head, but to the taste, deception...good malts in the mouth, with a barrel woody taste...but also noted acidic aftertaste which wouldn't go away. Going bad?

A nice brownish tinge with a head and a process of lace, however near watery with bitter and metallic taste, and significant malt in the finish. Its drinkable, but the formula works better on tap

Deep amber-brown pour with a tight creamy head - lovely looking pint really. The nose is very fruity with a soft Fuggles hop woodiness. A bit of malt sweetness with just a hint of blackberry fruitiness. A hint of tartness but its actually kind of nice. Pretty solid brew.

Respectable caramel apples mashed to a beautiful, creamy, buttery feel...Orangey hops respond in the back but fail to remain as long as I would have desired them...A nice real ale, with not much conversation...

Dark amber/brown with a respectable creamy beige head. Coats the glass a bit. Muted fruity hops in the aroma haunted by vaguely acidic notes (a fellow drinker said sulphury but I donít think that is quite right. Flavour is malty with a fruity quality to it, very well balanced but a slight acidity showed up here as well - not unpleasantly so but it had the feel of an unexpected guest that didnít quite belong. Not as good as I remember but nice.

Cask, at the brewpub. Clear orange amber, dense quarter-inch frothy head. Very fruity-yeasty aroma, muted caramel. Light palate (surprising for the listed ABV), softly carbonated, sweet caramel and apple fruit, low reedy bitterness. Itís just nice to have a cask ale on the menu!

[5326-20130501] Cask. Light fruity grains aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Light fruity grains flavour has a light boozy caramel background. Medium body. Great on cask. (7/3/7/3/13) 3.3

Mahogany-brown with crisp white top. It gave fine contrasting appearance. Mild, sweet, grainy aroma, creamy nose with light roast character as it warmed up. Full bodied, sweet malts, brown sugar, creamy texture. Mild soft roast. Not as clean as I wished to be. Slightly sour at the edge.
