HogTownHarry (3175), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Feb 21, 2008 Draught. At the brewpub. Clear gold with an average white head. Sweet and tangy with a little floral-herbal bitterness. The taste was mild but pleasant, sweet fresh-hay malt and grassy mild hops. Light of body and a whisper of astringency, but only weak carbonation and a too-quick finish. It would be no problem to drink several of these - quite refreshing, but a little too simple and a tad boring. blankboy (2562), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 19, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma’s fruity with grain and light hops. Flavour’s a bit watery but clean and easy enough to drink. Mild, short bitter finish. Nothing special but better then I expected. tupalev (2285), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 14, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Brewed for Kingston’s Feb Fest. Golden yellow, small white head. I didn’t care too much for the fruity, grainy aroma, but it was ok. Taste was better - more fruit, light malt, great carbonation and mouthfeel. Not sure how it fits with the season, but this was a solid enough english style pint. GregClow (2318), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 12, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Proper name is "Pete’s Puck ’er Up", but the apostrophes won’t show in the name above. Light golden with a small white head. Aroma is interesting - a bit fruity (apples?) and grainy. Flavour is mild and balanced. Not much character here, but it’s refreshing and clean.
