Verre de 16 oz dégustée à la brasserie lors d’un séjour au Charleston Lake Provincial Park. Arôme: Odeur de caramel et d’alcool. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée. Présence d’un moyen col crémeux et d’une large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de caramel légèrement brulé. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture crémeuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence d’alcool en arrière goût. (Rating #493)

Dark brown body with a small creamy khaki head and nice lacing (3+). Aroma of burnt caramel and dark malt is a touch muted, mild awareness of alcohol. Sweet rich malt and treacle is very English. Palate is a touch light but it works, I think it was probably on cask. Quite pleasant, but a bit strong for the first beverage after a long drive! More of a sipper for the cooler months.
