Tap at the brewery. Very interesting. Aroma of leaves, and white wine. Taste is sweet, and smooth. Palate is oily, with a thin-to-medium body. Yellow, crisp, with no head.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off strangely caramelly, turning bready. Faint grainy finish.

this reminded me of a macro ale. Cooked veggies, corn, and some sweet apples. really not very good.

On Tap- Clear light goldencolor with a nice head that fades quickly to good lacing. Mild clean aroma with a hint of citrus. Nice light taste of citrus, crisp and refreshing. Nice clean finish. Fairly light body with good carbonation, quite smooth. Nicely balanced and goes down easy. Much better than I expected.

On tap at the brewpub. The palest yellow of all the KBC brews I tried. Stinky, sweaty, sweet aroma. Sweet biscuity malt, thin, with a celery/grassy note in the finish. Not good.

(Rating #2511)

On tap at the brewpub. Is this a lager or a cream ale? For my first Kingston Brewing Co. beer, I think I should’ve thought about it a little more...

On tap- Tapped a golden liquid with a one finger short lived head. Pale malts and grains fill the nose, and lead into grass and a similar apple aroma that I found in the cask offering. Taste is of sweet grains and pale malts with only the slightest hop coming through, giving way to some biscuit. Finishes a bit thin and seems to be more of a pale lager than the cream ales I have sampled in the past (eg. McAuslan Cream Ale). I’ve heard they are going to start selling this one through the LCBO somehow, and I have to wonder why.

Golden colour with a very faint haze and a white head. Aroma has a grassy hop fruit mix with bread yeast tones. The palate was medium.

Fruity almost like dry pear cider mixed with Heineken - indicating a bit of hop skunk that I can detect, After the Dragon’s Breath it took a while to settle into this but it is a pleasant-feeling ale I could drink for fun.
