Bottle at home. Bottle conditioned but crystal clear. Mid brown colour with a good lasting head. Little aroma. Palate is smooth, malted grain, well rounded mouthfeel. Enough hop bite to keep it refreshing. Mellow malt aftertaste.

500ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Apricot, dates and a hint of spice in the aroma. Biscuity, fruity and slightly earthy taste with orange peel, earthy hops, sultanas and dried apricot.

Cask at the Anderson, Fortrose, 19/10/13. Clear dark amber with a moderate off white head. Nose carries a fruity tang, malts, classic twiggy affair. Taste comprises apple skins, bready malts, orchard fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry bitter finish. Mediocre old school bitter type thing ... yawn!

Cask at Bree Louise. Amber coloured, very clear, with small white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Taste, same. Not very exciting.

Cask at the Golden Eagle, W1. Caveat to this review as I don’t think this beer was served in optimal condition - it wasn’t very nice. Pale golden colour, but dominant flavour of earthy, musty hoppy bitterness. Would love to re-rate as it seems my review is way off track, but this is what I had...

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of flowery hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and elderflowers.

bottle. Slightly hazy amber-golden colour, tiny head. Fruity-hoppy nose. Light malty base with lots of hops, some of it rather medicinal. The malty base does not really balance the hops, it’s bitter-sweet, but I don’t really like the medicinal bitterness of the hops.

Bottle (thanx to Q.-D.!): A bit unclear, copper coloured, no head to speak of; moderate dry hoppy and fruity nose with a little metallic touch; moderate to robust dry bitter flavour, a little sweetness underneath, light to medium bodied, quite soft; lingering hoppy and fruity finish - maybe with traces of liquorice. Good........
