COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned, Regular;
Just like the Monnow Gate, this beer has underlying strength. Challenger & Northern Brewer Hops, combined with a blend of Pale and Crystal Malts, give this Ale its dry, bitter character.

BCA (From Bitter Virtue, BB Mar 07). Copper coloured. Herbal grassy hops and tasty caramel tinged malts. Quite drinkable and balanced. Another good bottle conditioned beer from Kingstone.

Bottle. Dark orange and poured with a large head. Full bodied with some hop presence A robust and pleasant bitter.

From bottle. Great fresh rich aroma. Slightly cloudy appearance with a crisp white head. Decent bitter with a malt character. Hops and a hint of fruit. Another decent brew from Kingstone. I don’t know why I am always surprised, they are becoming quite consistent.

Bottle. Lightly metallic aroma, lightly hoppy. Palate is light metallic/lightly acidic, with some lightly fruity citric hop notes. A bit dull. Short flavour.
