Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 2 December 2009. Orange with moderate condition. Some sweet fruit on the nose and palate. Quite juicy flavours and mouthfeel. Pleasant but a little low on impact. Billed as a British style IPA but rather short of hop presence for that. No idea where the name comes from.

Taste from the cask. Falling cloudy hops, rich malt. Full but still a bit sour ale. Rich but a bit off-flavors.

Bottle 500ml.
Light light unclear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, nutty - leater notes, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, leather - funky ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110819]

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s an unclear, light amber beer with a very small off-white head. Fruity and sourish aroma with a touch of green pine cones. Quite bitter tasting, with some toffee and fruityness. Slightly sour too, finishing bitter and sour. Medium body. Not much pleasant going on here. 110829

Bottle @ FOneFan. Hazy amber/orange with small off-white head. Flavour is malt, caramel, fruit, hops and bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, malt, hops and notes of alcohol.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours cloudy orange with a bubbly head. Caramel, citrus, yeast and rubber. A bit of marmelade. Ends dry and hoppy.

Cloudy copper colour with no head. Aroma of wood, hops and malt. Sweet woody taste. Tastes nicer than it smells. quite smooth.

Copper colour with a thin white head and lace. Nice fresh malt with a subtle hop aroma. Earthy flavour with hop bitter finish.

Bottled. Hazy amber, rich head. Rich spicy caramel aroma. Rich spicy caramel aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Lots of spicy hops, growing bitter finish. Nice strong ale.

bottle. Clear deep amber colour, large head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, intensively malty, slightly fruiy with hints of citrus fruit and berries.
