Bottle.Orange and slightly cloudy. Fruity bitterness with a dry finnish. Quiet well balanced and easy to drink. This brewery constantly turns out well bottled beers that always seem to impress.

Bottle conditioned, 500ml, from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham, Gloucs. Clouded orange gold with no head. Flat, tart, badly Bottle conditioned unfortunately. Sweet malts, apricot note. Couldn’t drink even half of it had to chuck the rest.

On tap at the Monmouth Raft Race September 2007. This beer also named Brew 3 or when I tried it Raft Race Ale. Nutty aroma. Deep brown in colour with a thin head. Hoppy ale, and surprisingly easy to drink considering the percentage. I would like a little more texture in the finish, found it a little thin. Enjoyed the beer, took a few bottles home.

BCA. Orange coloured with a big, off-white head. Aroma was typically Kingstone - marmalade and earthy hops. The flavour had plenty of sweet malt with a fruity hop finish. Good but I preferred the same brewery’s Classic Bitter.

bottle at home .. golden amber ... rich syrupy juicy hop resins and fruit malts ... citric hop tones mixed with some caramel malt and grapefruit linger.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Leicester BF. A dark copper coloured beer. The aroma is fruity and malty with berries and alcohol. The taste is very smooth. Malty fruity and very quaffable. Cherries and raspberry flavours come through. Very tasty indeed.

BCA (From Bitter Virtue< BB Mar 07). Copper coloured. Fruity hops with grassyness is the initial impression with nutty biscuity malts becoming more noticeable. Moderately dry initialy but the hops are slightly lacking in the finish leaving a sweet finish with a touch of peppery alcohol. Could be better.
