Bottle. Very pale straw with heavy carbonation. Aromas are pear with lemon and icing sugar. Slightly eggy. Flavours are sweet pear with tart green apple. Quite dry and industrial on the finish. Very Aston Manor.

berkshirejohn (4448) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2014
50cl bottle from a Londis. Very pale straw with light carbonation; floral aroma; crisp fruity, pear taste. Extremely good, given the low price (£1 a bottle).

Philym (982) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2014
Appearance: Clear green/straw colour. Looks like white wine in colour. Bubbly white head on the pour. Aroma: Pear, floral notes and undertones of white wine but very subtle. Taste: Medium sweetness, low/medium tannin and medium acidity. Palate: Thick smooth texture, light body, prickly carbonation, lingering dry pear, honeyed finish. Comments: Ok and comparable to more expensive perrys/pear ciders.

Bottle b+m. Clear white colour no head. Sweet pear pop aroma and taste. Thin body medium carbonation. Easy to drink but not great.

danlo (1131) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2013
660ml bottle from local shop. Clear pale yellow colour, foamy white head that dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of tart fruits. Sweetish pear flavour with some tartness. Light bodied, high carbonation, drying finish with some residual sweetness. OK.

maeib (8658) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2013
Bottled 20/10/13. An insipid lime green coloured perry. A sweet nose which has discernible pear fruit. Chemically and quite fake. It’s not a nasty drink but it’s obviously a low quality perry.

Bottle. Clear with yellow tint. Aroma of sparkling white wine. Taste is sugar sweetness and a touch of pear. Not very good.

McTapps (3918) - Ruhrcity, North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - SEP 17, 2012
Cans bought at -what a surprise!- Tesco. Aroma of sour apples, taste is the same. Very sour, almost no sweetness, not really nice to drink. More like lemon juice. Very dry.

Cans shared with McTapps. Well, in the end this one is still drinkable. As drinkable as pure lemon juice would be. Terrible.
