Cask at the Bree Louise, London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, off-white head. Some doughy malts in the nose, light toast. Light sweet flavor, kind of nutty with light caramel and subtle diacetyl, dough. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sweet finish, faintly nutty now with some light, leafy bitterness and wet wood. Pretty mediocre.

Cask conditioned handpump Market Porter London 16/05/12. A classic brown coloured beer with a white head and lacing. A sweet bitter. A grainy, slightly yeasty nose. Fruity flavours in the mouth. Very plain.

Bottle at DSG 2011. Deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is malt, hop, caramel. Flavour is dry, malt, hop, caramel, hay. bitter finish. Ordinary beer.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Hazy golden with a small off white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste, with some caramel, cardboard, faint grassy hops.

Cask-conditioned at the Green Man, Bristol 15/09/2011. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Weetabix aroma with a touch of fruit and leafy hops. Flavour of cereal malts with a touch of caramel and bitter finish. Fine.

Cask@GBBF2011. Amber/copper colour with a small white head. Aroma is caramel malts, mild crystal notes as well as some grassy, wooden and resiny notes. Flavour is being quite similar in a rather pleasant balance.

Clear medium to light amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted - caramel, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, keller, damp stain - fusty, chlorine notes ! Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20110819]
