Can. Pale yellow with no head retention. Smells like band aids and latex. Is thin. Tastes better than it smells. Palate a little oily. Sweet grain flavors. Band aid finish. Not as bad as I thought at first.

33cl Can in Kota Kinabalu. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of metal, light dry malts. Flavour is sweet, fizzy, metallic, just not good. Light bodied, watery.

Kingway har mycket litet med njutning att göra, och då alkoholprocenten bara är fyra procent har den mycket litet med berusning att göra också. Återstår alltså att hitta på en anledning att köpa det här ölet. Märk era inskickade bidrag med "den omöjliga sloganen".

Golden-straw. No head. The aroma is phenols (paint thinner mostly). Slightly appley and highly watery brew. Finishes mostly watery.

Got this in Hong Kong and brought it back to USA. Canned. The beer, which is mostly in Chinese, indicates it’s 4.0% but the Can looks exactly as pictured here. Besides that I can’t read much else. Taste is ultra light with some sugar present. No off flavors or anything to raise suspicion you are going to get sick. Very clean and nothing offensive.

This is what you drink in Xi’an when you can’t get bottled water, and neither the local food nor the best traveling companions or the most beautiful translators can alter the fact that this is just disappointing swill. Pale appearance, small head, vanishes without lacing. Nose of ... well ... nothing. Taste of ... again ... nothing. Barely beer, but clean and safe to drink ... especially since it has almost no alcohol.

Crystal clear coloured body with an almost transparent coloured look and no head at all to speak of. Aroma of metal, corn, rice, sugar - and nothing too pleasant. Super-light bodied; Strong swetness up front fading to a light malty and cardboardie taste with nothing else following behind. Aftertaste shows cardboard, water and fake sugar - bad again. Overall, a very mild and not pleasing beer - good to drink in the midst of summer in Guangzhou, but aside from that - definitely a beer to pass on. My 33 cL can looked exactly like pictured on the side here on RateBeer. I sampled this can purchased at a small corner store in the ’mainland’ in Guangzhou, China on 21-January-2008.

A gift from Hong Kong. Can; just like the picture. Virtually no detectable alcohol, which is nice. Of course, they had to go to 3.4% to accomplish that, but it’s a good thing, tastewise. Fluffy white head and mild, mild flavor. Watery with the faintest hint of beer.

Can. Pale yellow with a sickly off-white head that was truly something to behold: it dissipated around the edges but remained in the middle, with the texture of cotton candy. Sick. Sharp smell of pungent fruits leading into...no taste at all. I could chug these all day - It’s a half-brother of Blue Ice Beer! Light mouthfeel, just plain watery.
