Bomber from Skyview, thanks! Clear golden amber with a two finger white crown. Aroma is sweet and grainy with apricot, toasted malt and wheat. The apricot comes through on the taste but like most fruit beers a bit on the muted side. One part tart, another part sweet this apricot and wheat combo finishes up prickly and sweet.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Bomber. Hazy orange pour with a white frothy head. Aroma of dried apricots. Some mild lager yeast nose as well. Not bad.

Thanks to Bob for the bomber! Poured medium golden with a nice white head. The aroma picked up soft wheat and juicy apricots with accents of tart apricot and honey.. intriguing and enjoyable use of the fruit. The flavor found dank honey and fruity malts at the core (kind of odd), with tangy apricot skins and lightly metallic wheat around.. finished tangy and refreshing. Lighter-bodied and a touch sharp on the palate.. OK feel across the middle, but it was nice and refreshing in the end.

Picked up a single 22-oz bomber at Westside Wine & Sprits, west of Sparta, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy golden amber colored brew with a thick off-white head that has some excellent retention followed by some spotty lacing and a film top. Aroma of mostly Mediterranean apricots, a hint of mild caramel and floral hops. Flavor is medium bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of mostly apricots, light golden grain, some caramel but with more wheat flavor character than detected in aroma. Finish is semi-sweet at first followed by some semi-dry apricot aftertaste along with a light white bread malt flavor. There is definitely more dried apricot flavors in this one than most other compatible fruit beers that I’ve tried without the heavy sweetness.
