COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

pleasantly suprised by this one. pulled the beer out of the fridge a little too cold. pours, beige with an offwhite head. nose needed some time to get there, when it did it was quite nutty, and had a nice breadyness to it with a slight undertone of piny minty hops, taste was light but it had good body and was refreshing. Not too shabby at all.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy amber colour with a frothy white head that looks like cotton candy. Pretty much carbonation aswell. Aromas of pale malt, hay, sweet corn and some herbs. The flavour is fruitier with grapefruit, berries, herbs, and some wood. Has a soft mouth feel, and is surprisingly medium bitter. A decent beer, but maybe too much focus on the bitterness.

Redish golden colour, with a big head that stays forever. Aroma of grapefruit, bread and hay. Meduim bitterness and light sweetness. Not bad at all for a 4,7 % avb. Good beer that I have quite often. Recommended.

Bottle from Meny, Vollebekk. Pours hazy light brown with a huge white head. Aroma of hops, malt, caramel and fruits. Quite fruity with some sweetness and good bitterness. Dry and lightly bitter finish with a hint of citrus. Nice beer! [Brygg nr. 180]

A huge, creamy and rocky white head rests upon a light amber slightly hazy body indefinitely, and laces the glass excellently. Sweet fruity aroma, with citric notes, mostly sweet grapefruit, perfume and a soapy touch. The taste is moderate to light sweet with a moderate bitter long finish. Quite simple flavour profile, but ridiculously refreshing and crisp: perfume, herbs, resin, grapefruit and a touch of something spicy (hm, that doesn’t sound that simple). Dry finish, medium carbonation and a rather light body and thin feel, but it’s extremely more-ish and easy-to-drink. A perfect beer when you’re not up for something demanding.

10.02.2012. 0,75l Bottle. Ica Supermarked Maaseskjæret, Bergen. Brown colour with white head. A little hazy and unclear. Nice aroma of spicy hops. Not as rich as I expected from the colour. Medium body. Flavours of malt and grassy hops. Rather flat hopping. Mild bitter aftertaste. This is my number 400 Norwegian beer rating!!

Bottle. It pours an unclear, muddy amber body and a two-finger off-white head. Weak malty and fruity aroma with yeasty notes. Fruity flavor with pale malts and a hint of cellar, bitter and biscuity finish. Smooth and medium bodied. Although a bit boring, it’s a quite nice beer that drinks easily and has some quenching qualities. 110204

Bottle. Copper hazy, big big offwhite head. Smells of caramel, flowers and malts. Taste is very malty with good sweetness. Feel is quite normal. Flowers in taste too. Finish is quite hop bitter. One of the best steamers i’ve tried
