Flavour is sweet with roasted malts, as well as toffee and orange peel, and a nice long moderately bitter finish.

250ml draught at Naboen. Near-clear, amber coloured body. Low, lacing-head. Semi-dry, bittering malty nose. Taste of buttery malts, marmelade and dusty hops. Bitter endnotes. Quite orrdinary for the style (drinking with ClubGonzo in Bergen, 17.09.2012).

On tap @ Naboen. Slightly hazy orange/golden body with a small white head. Aroma has some caramel and lots of butterscotch. Flavor is sweet malt, butterscotch and a hint of acidity. Medium body with an unpleasant aftertaste. This was not my best experience at all from Kinn. Not totally bad, but I did not feel for finishing my glass.

On tap at Naboen. It’s a hazy, dark golden beer topped by a layer of off-white bubbles. There’s a butterscotch touch in the aroma, some fruitiness, and a little maltiness. Caramel hints. Hard carbonation, medium body, with a little caramel maltiness, some bitterness and a little butterscotch. Grains and some fruitiness too. A little bitterness in the finish. A rather unpleasant one, boring too. Hope it’s just an old keg. 120908

Slightly muted aroma, but pleasant. Nice appearance and good head. The taste is rather average (compared to other good beers), and on average I think this is a slightly above average beer.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2013 23.04.2012. On tap at Naboen Pub. Golden amber colour with white head. Malty aroma with rather strong bitterness. Very nice strong malty aroma. Good beer!! 12.02.2013. On tap at Naboen pub, Bergen. There is a strong aroma of floral hops and flowers. Very much floral grassy hops and raw fresh hoppy flavors. Bitterness is fresh hoppy and leaves a summer feeling with fresh flowers and grass.

On tap at Naboen. Has a amber colour and is slightly hazy. Typical british bitter aroma with sweet malt of caramel and grains. This is also present in flavours but with a more distinct touch of grassy hops, and surprisingly more bitterness than a regular bitter. A typical slick mouthfeel. A real good interpretation of the bitter-style.

Smallish offwhite creamy head. Hazy amber body. Mealy herbal earthy aroma with strawy notes, a bit faint. Dry-sweet mealy resiny honey taste with strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy resiny floral aftertaste with strawy grassy notes. Nice, and highly drinkable. (0.5l draft at Naboen Pub, Bergen, Norway.)

On tap at Naboen, Bergen. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malts, light fruity hops. Taste is light bitter and resiny hops, light burned caramel, solid malty body. Ends rather quick. Not my favourite from Kinn.
