COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, 75 cl. Clear golden amber with a frothy white head, good retention. Malty nose, grassy, spicy floral. Flavor of medium sweet caramel, crispy breadsticks, grass, light spicy hoppy finish, dry and rather bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Cloudy golden, decent white head. Good looking. Aroma of malt, grass and fruit. Taste of english hops, caramel, bread. Bitterness is overshadowed by a lasting sweetness.

0,7l Bottle: Hazy yellow colour, with a nice big creamy white head. Aroma is dominated of Fruits, citrus, flowers, and a hay, grassy, and a nice sweet maltynes. flavor had a mild fruity, citrus mouth feeling and with a nice sweet maltynes, some peppery was there too, and give this Bitter ale, a nice complexity.Thin body but a nice medium to loong fruity/bitter finish. Weel done in this low alcy level!!

A hazy, light amber to orange body with a large, creamy, white, very long-lived head that leaves lots of lacing on the glass. A bit faint aroma with fruits (mostly citric notes), herbs, yeast and some faint pale lager-like stuff (pale malts?). Light sweet taste with a moderate bitter finish. Faint flavours with citrus and a grassy bitterness. Pleasant on the palate with a medium body, creamy and smooth mouthfeel and medium carbonation, but still a bit disappointing. I expect more exciting beers than this from the Wizard of Florø!

Bottle@Home. Fruity aroma, light herbal. Yellow/orange, white irregular head, fair lace. Bready, fruity, harsh herbal bitterness. Medium body, rather oily mouth feel. Interesting but unbalanced. And I don’t like the oily mouth feel.

Draft. Hazy yellow color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of white pepper and white bread. Taste is mildly bitter, crisp and clean. Good example of the style.

Unclear orange of color with a small white head. An aroma of sweets, honey and exotic fruits. A flavor with bisquit, plastic and weak sweets.

Tap@Grünerløkka brygghus. Dark, hazy yellow with a finger of white, creamy, rocky head. Loads of lacing. Looks incredible. Fresh and inviting aroma of citrus, grains, with a spicy hop character and some yeast underneath it all.. Some alcohol showing through when it warms. Slightly burnt malt flavours, grains, and peppery hops. Light fruits. Semidry, long finish. Nice and thick mouthfeel, creamy carbonation. This is pretty good, but the hop profile was perhaps a bit raw. Otherwise nice and drinkable, and almost belgian in style.

Hoppy is the first taste character, this later turns fruity, followed by some bitterness in the finish. Aroma of citrus fruits and grass. It pours a copper, almost yellow colour, and boasts a white foam. (75 cl bottle)

On tap at Håndverkerstuene. Medium dark hazy orange colour with no head. Aroma is faint sour notes with hints of yeast. Some bret perhaps? Flavour is suprisingly watery and thin. Notes if yeast again as well as hay and malts. The hops is mostly non-existant. Short finish and aftertaste.
