3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 TyggaBrown (255) - NORWAY - MAY 14, 2013
Matkroken, Landås, Bergen, 87,90 NOK. I expected something way mucher sweeter, than this. But that wasn’t a problem. The foam tastes of sourness and raspberries, and the aroma hints of raspberries as well. Ok level of bitterness, and it surely goes well as an aperitif.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bathory (360) - Bryne, NORWAY - APR 22, 2013
This one was the major supprise when we visited the Beer13 festival 19/04/13. I did not believe that this could turn out good, but it far exceeded my expectations. Pours a light red colour with a good light pink head. Aroma of respberries and citrus. I was afraid that it would turn out way too sweet, but there are a good dose of sourness and bitterness to cope with the sweetness. This makes this a supprisingly well balanced fruit beer that would make the perfect apertif. It has a light, suitable body, and enough carbonation to make it refreshing. I really enjoyed this one!

A bit hazy reddish with a huge head. Aroma and taste of light raspberries, wheat, malt and some yeast. Refreshing but a bit on the thin side. Still nice to find a descent beer in Ålesund, although a bit expensive. The bottle cost 174 nok.

On tap at Grunerløkka festival. A hazy, orange beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Lightly fruity, mostly berry-ish and lightly sweetish aroma. Raspberry-like, sweet flavour with some bitterness in the back. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Lightly sourish, more in the end than in the start. A quite pleasant one, sort of refreshing too. 120825

From bottle @ Opsahlgården, Kongsberg Ølfestival 2012. Biggish pink-shaded blond top. Murky pinkish-amber body. Light tart and mineralic raspberry aroma. Notes of yeast and dough. Sharp astingent-sweet berry flavor. Leafy and spicy tones. If not thin, quite light in body. Edgy mouthfeel.
Dryish, light tart raspberry finish. Beyond interesting. Not fully rounded, yet a nice beer experience.
