Head: small, bubbly, espresso
Colour: black
Smell: chocolat, lots of rich creamy roastyness , reminds me allot of a fresh brewn pot of coffee sampled with chocolat cake , mmmm , reminds a bit of bourbon as well
Taste: start is a tiny bit sweet , lots of coffee and chocolat taste , more like chocolat mousse, bittersweet undernote , rich roasty malts flavour that blend in smoothly with the coffee and chocolat, the taste runs outvery smoothly with a very rich , tiny bit smokey and earthy aftertaste ... really really good ! thanks again Bernt !
This is not an extreme barrel aged stout or high alcohol beast no , just an honest well brewn regular stout , this impresses me more than some other stuff out there , props for the brewer !

Sampler from tap at the Nærbø Ølfestival 2011. Black with a large, creamy, brown head leaving excellent lacing. Coffee, roastednotes and liquorice on the nose. Rich sweetness, roasted and light salty notes and bitterness all masterfully balanced . Smooth. Full body. A light alco warmth. Long roasted finish with a dry tongue. Fantastic!

Sampled at Nærbø Ølfestival. Black body with a big, foamy beige head – perfect. Aroma of dark, roasted malt, some smoke, citric fruity hops, dry fruit and hint of coffee. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, fruity hops, dry fruit, coffee and warming alcohol. Full body, and a rich aftertaste that lasts forever. Really, really tasty, balanced, smooth and wonderful.

0.25l bottle. What a cute little bottle Kinn has comed up with for this exciting beer! It pours a deep brown body with a small and sidesticking bubbly head. The aroma is lovely roasted and out there on the sweet side with tons of chocolatemalts, coffee, licorice, candy and it has hints of paint. Lovely aroma. Oh, this is one smooth beer alright. Thick and chewy texture in the mouth - but still really light and what I will call refreshing. Strange, but really lovely the mouthfeel on this one. It tastes deep roasted with lots of dark chocolate, dark nuts combined with dark dried fruits. Lovely flavors with a fantastic sweet, warming and dark-rich aftertaste that’s really lingering. Something close to extreme and definitely fantastic stuff from the wizard of Florø! Looking forward to a re-rate in the year of 2013. 20.01.2012

Served as a sample at Nærbø Ølfestival last year as a exclusive world premiere. Dark as the night with a small brown head that disappears wuite fast due to the high alcohol. Roasty aroma with coffee and chocolate as the main elements. The taste also reveals some leaves, coal and a tiny bit of smoke. Oily texture with low carbonation which really sets the taste in the main seat. A fantastic beer in my opinion, would really recommend to buy this one if you get across it.

On tap at ølfestivalen, Nærbø. Lined up in a big queue for the premiere of this Imperial Stout, or rather "foreign extra double imperial russian export stout porter" I suppose this is the brewers comment on the black pale weissbier. The beers pours pitch black with a big frothy tanned and good looking head. Aroma is quite strong roasted malts with a powerful black liquorice note. Taste is strong and powerful dark malty, heavy roasted with that lovely liquorice.Very smooth mouthfeel. Lots of dark goodies, burnt dark caramel, even some tar. Solid stuff from Kinn. Looking forward to this one in bottles.

Bottle at Amundsen. Black, no head. Aroma of dark rich cocoa powder. Taste is bitter 90% cacao. Extremely dry finish. Fascinating and unique.
