Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Tom L.. Clear yellow-orange with a small head. Aroma of piney and grassy hops. Taste of grainy malt, citrus, lemon and pine, mild bitterness. Light-bodied, not very dry, easy drinking. Nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden. Pleasant hoppy aroma, floral and citric. Flavor is quite dry, with a bit of malt, citric and floral hops, and a bitter finish. Light-bodied. Nice and refreshing.

Draught. Pours a blood orange colour with a small non-lasting white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, honey. Taste of citrus, clove, brown sugar. Oily texture, medium carbonation.

Bottle from the excellent Blackrock Cellar. A proper IPA...good sour notes to taste. Strength and depth without being overpowering. Loved it !

Beautiful on draught or bottle conditioned. Hazy orange with tight white head _ maybe some wheat malt there? Lovely pink grapefruit or blood orange and nettle (pine?) on the nose. More grapefruit, hops, and fairly strong malt on the tongue and a dry, grapefruit, hoppy finish. Saved the last quarter bottle and tried it with the yeast. More mellow citrus flavour with digestive biscuit from the malt. Finish softer if anything. A thing of beauty!

500ml bottle from Reills Lisnaskea, £2.50:
This one was a very nice American style IPA, particularly as it comes from an Irish brewery and came out a lot better than I was expecting. Thankfully the beer was quite bitter with a lot of grapefruit and citrus flavours, some pine helping add to this as well. Overall this one was quite an enjoyable offering and one that I wouldn’t mind picking up again.

Decent craft irish India Pale Ale. Peachy and hazy. Ends with bitter aftertaste.

Bottle thanks to big bro. Hazed light golden orange coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is grassy, earthy hop with a little hay. Bit dirty on the nose. Flavour is semi crisp, dirty grassy hop and a little hedgerow berry. Palate is medium light bodied with highish carbonation. Decent.

Pours slightly cloudy with a fairly solid head. Clear hoppy aroma and a crisp bitterness. Not bad, but not exactly a session beer.
