BlackHaddock (3645) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2012
18th May 2012: hand pulled pint in The Cock Hotel, Wellington. Pale amber body with a creamy head of off-white foam on top. Nose and taste are both mildly citrus with a semi-sweet caramel undertone: nice blend and easy to drink. No world beater, but a steady brew with a medium body strength and enough depth of flavour to please.

Cask conditioned at Moreton in Marsh Beer Fest ’11. Orange amber with white head. Quite a fruity, malty bitter with hints of caramel, quite a hint of sweetness, full with a distinct plum like note. Bitterness in the close, really quite pleasant.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, light hoppy, sweet hops, aceton notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110802]

Cask (GBBF2011)
Almost nothing to say about this, it’s a straight-down-the-line bitter, and a bit boring at that. Nice rich colour though, and a decent head. Chuggable.
