New Beer Distributors, NY 330ml ($2): Pour is lightly golden with small white head. Aroma wheat, candy, and citrus. Taste is rather insubstantial. It ain’t really watery, but it is pretty light and sweet. There are some nice wheaty notes, but they are few and far in between. "Tis a forgettable witbier.

Tastes of oranges, wheat, coriander, and Curacao. Light to medium body. Slightly dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Medium sweet, wheat, orange, spice, Curacao finish is lightly dry.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cybercat (2519) - Georgia, USA - DEC 15, 2010
Pours a pale straw yellow with a thin white head that disappears rather quickly. Fortunately, the appearance is this beer’s only weak spot. The aroma is strong, crisp and malty with fruity and spicy hints. Flavor is malty and crisp with hints of fruit, citrus and cloves. Texture is tingly and a little rough.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ben4321 (3032) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 21, 2010
Location: Draft at d.b.a, 5/21/10
Aroma: Fairly simple, typical orange, spice, and wheat beer
Appearance: Hazy orangish color beer with a decent white head
Flavor: Taste is medium sweet, some spice, and citrus flavors
Palate: The body is fizzy, fairly light, nothing too exciting
Overall Impression:
I didn’t really enjoy this one all that much. A fairly typical example of the style, but also on the boring side. I wouldn’t rush out for this one again.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 pilgrimoutlaw (508) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 3, 2010
I was pretty underwhelmed by this one. Tastes like Coors lite. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. It’s just that Coors lite costs about 80% less. Light pale blond, very subtle flavors of coriander and citrus.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 koopa (338) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 23, 2010
This one was a gem. Very hard to come by in the states because it isn’t being bottled. Tried it at the Atlantic City Beer Festival this year and also got it in a growler from Bierkraft in Brooklyn. Pours a super cloudy yellow / white and has the softest / creamiest taste of any white beer I’ve sampled. One of my favorite beers of all time for pure pleasurable drinkability.
Serving type: growler
