SSSteve (2042), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Sep 4, 2009 cloudy white with a small filmy white head. aromas of lemon, vanilla, wheat. the flavor is lemony lime mostly with coriander. lightly tart and sour. a light body with moderate carbonation. corby112 (671), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 30, 2009 Pours a hazy golden yellow/ripe banana color with a 2 finger frothy white head with great retention that very slowly fades into a lasting cap, leaving solid chunks of soapy lacing throughout the glass.
Very yeasty/bready aroma with a lot of citrus fruit and peppery spiciness. Ripe banana, lemon peel and bread notes accompanied by peppery lemon zest and coriander.
Flavor is very similar to the aroma with a nice full body, especially for the style. Strong bread and yeast presence with a lot of crisp citrus notes; lemon peel and ripe banana balanced out by a peppery spiciness with lots of lemon zest, corriander and subtle hops.
This beer is extremely drinkable with no trace of alcohol and is very refreshing, especially in the warmer months. Highly recommended exmple of the style. TomDecapolis (3122), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 9, 2009 Tap at CAH. Pours a hazy golden with a medium creamy white head. Aroma of wheat, corriander, spicy yeast esters and floral notes. Flavor was very floral and citrusy, wheat, corriander and lot of wit esters. Well done wit. PilsnerPeter (2585), Flushing, New York, USA May 9, 2009 Tap at Brooklyn d.b.a.: Slightly hazy golden with a white film of head. Sweetish/honeyish aroma- light wheat, and only a touch of coriander. Fizzy body- yet the flavor has evident residual sugars- lots of honey character, subdued coriander with a macro-ish feel overall. Not dry or spicy enough for the style. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Apr 26, 2009 Draft. Pours a golden hazy body with a white head. Lots of citrus and lemon wheat and grass. Some light citrus notes and a hint of earthy herbal bitterness. A good wit. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 12, 2009 Draft at Capone’s. Pours turbid off-gold with lime highlights and 2-finger white head. Nose is limey citrus, spicy coriander, hops, yeast. Tastes citric, yeasty, with hops, tangerine, some bready late hints. Zesty, limey, orangy, spicy, and very crisp and refreshing. A world class wit. joeyplush (328), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 8, 2009 Kira belgian white draft at Belgian Cafe Philly

beastiefan2k (1590), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Jan 9, 2009 Tap at d.b.a Brooklyn. Color is completely clear straw with visible carbonation, but has a decent head. Aroma is very vegetal for a Wit and has a weird sweetness, its strange and not supposed to be in the beer. Taste is a bit better with some coriander but again that weird sweetness. Wow, another winner from Huyghe, I wish I knew before what the hell I was going to drink.
