Had this at the Atlantic City beerfest 08. pours a light cloudy yellow, nice head. Taste is orange & corianderish.
Slightly sweet taste, crisp and fresh. Drink very cold for best flavor and taste. The best white at the festival.

Appearance: Cloudy, straw-colored yellow body with a small, though lasting, white head.
Smell: Toasted cereal scent with a bit of spiciness to it. Yes sir, it smells mighty nice! Minus the cinnamon, the aroma reminds me somewhat of a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Taste: Toasty barley, wheaten taste with a darling cereal sweetness to it. A few drops of lemon juice, a pinch of dried orange peel. Restrained spice character. Floral hops with a mild bitterness. Dash of neutral-flavored water. Everything starts drying out, but the beer still finishes decidedly sweet.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Very slight stickiness to the mouthfeel.
Drinkability: Surprisingly good! A rather fine choice for mid-August lunchtime drinking. Besides me, it was the best white at the festival!

Pours a hazy golden yellow/ripe banana color with a 2 finger frothy white head with great retention that very slowly fades into a lasting cap, leaving solid chunks of soapy lacing throughout the glass.
Very yeasty/bready aroma with a lot of citrus fruit and peppery spiciness. Ripe banana, lemon peel and bread notes accompanied by peppery lemon zest and coriander.
Flavor is very similar to the aroma with a nice full body, especially for the style. Strong bread and yeast presence with a lot of crisp citrus notes; lemon peel and ripe banana balanced out by a peppery spiciness with lots of lemon zest, corriander and subtle hops.
This beer is extremely drinkable with no trace of alcohol and is very refreshing, especially in the warmer months. Highly recommended exmple of the style.

Tasted on tap at the Brick Store. Pours a hazy yellow gold color. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is hay, citrus, spicy and yeast. A light to medium bodied wit. Malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of hay and grain flavors as well as citrus and spice. Crisp, light and refreshing. Lively carbonation, very small bubbles, but lively. Very smooth taste. Nice summer beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours turbid off-gold with lime highlights and 2-finger white head. Nose is limey citrus, spicy coriander, hops, yeast. Tastes citric, yeasty, with hops, tangerine, some bready late hints. Zesty, limey, orangy, spicy, and very crisp and refreshing. A world class wit.

Tap at Ginger Man. Aroma citrusy and zesty with sour fruits, particularly a perfumy lemon. Flavor of lots of marmalade with more of those sour fruits. Quite dry. Very nice.

This one was a gem. Very hard to come by in the states because it isn’t being bottled. Tried it at the Atlantic City Beer Festival this year and also got it in a growler from Bierkraft in Brooklyn. Pours a super cloudy yellow / white and has the softest / creamiest taste of any white beer I’ve sampled. One of my favorite beers of all time for pure pleasurable drinkability.
Serving type: growler
