10/8/06: Bottle.
Light hop nose. Body is a clear yellow-orange with a white head. Slight lacing. Good amount of carbonation. Flavor is slightly hoppy with a small malt sweetness. Clean finish.

I havent had many Japanese beers to compare this to, but I thought it was decent. Pour is clear yellow-orange with a lot of carbonation. Fresh smell. taste is slightly bitter, rice, wheat, little hops. Little to no aftertaste. I drink this any time Im eating sushi, which this beer goes great with.

not much of an aroma. maybe corn and a little hop. Clear golden in color with a very thin white head. Very sweet taste. very watery. Not all that impressed with this beer. I think I would rather drink the light if I had the choice!

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2008 330ml bottle. Another Oriental beer, another weak, watery beer...in my experience the two are almost synonymous. Would have to agree with several other reviewers that itís better than most in itís class, but thatís not saying much. The best thing I could say is that itís light, and refreshing.

(bottle)- Poured this into a dimpled mug. Great creamy head. Very pure yellow appearance, one of the yellowest ive seen. The taste has some fruity notes, followed by an aftertaste of malt. But it has a thin body, and a disapating head. Not the best brew, but not the worst either. Very drinkabe and above average for its class.

So many beers, so little time. Donít waste time on this one. Itís ok, but like all the others. Yellow, clear. Medium head, white. Not much aroma, flavor has a sweet start, finish is a little bitter, grass.

Cold 12oz bottle, served along with miso soup and sushi. Pours a clear golden color with a moderate light tan head, which dissipates quickly and leaves some lacing. Aroma is of light hops and hay, with floral notes. Taste is grainy and crisp, with light bitterness and a hint of lemon. Fizzy on the tongue. Ending is grainy with light bitterness.
