(Canned, "Brewed under the strict supervision of Kirin’s brewmaster by Anheuser-Busch, Inc, Los Angeles, CA") Clear golden color with a smallish, mostly fading head. Sweet, corny-grainy aroma. Sweetish, corny-malty flavor with practically no hop bitterness. Slight acidity. No finish to speak of. Light-bodied, not quite watery, slicky palate with medium, smooth carbonation. A very easy lager for those who like it sweet and hate the bitterness - not for a true beer lover, that is. Does beat a below-average bulk lager with harsh hops, though.

Bottle. Japanese restaurant in Guam. It was better than my Sapporo. It is very watery but still sweet. My favorite Japanese beer that I’ve had.

Pours a light golden yellow color. Aromas of grains and maybe some minor hop action. This tastes like corn and sugar. Very watery and borring.

I havent had many Japanese beers to compare this to, but I thought it was decent. Pour is clear yellow-orange with a lot of carbonation. Fresh smell. taste is slightly bitter, rice, wheat, little hops. Little to no aftertaste. I drink this any time Im eating sushi, which this beer goes great with.

not much of an aroma. maybe corn and a little hop. Clear golden in color with a very thin white head. Very sweet taste. very watery. Not all that impressed with this beer. I think I would rather drink the light if I had the choice!

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2008 330ml bottle. Another Oriental beer, another weak, watery beer...in my experience the two are almost synonymous. Would have to agree with several other reviewers that it’s better than most in it’s class, but that’s not saying much. The best thing I could say is that it’s light, and refreshing.

(bottle)- Poured this into a dimpled mug. Great creamy head. Very pure yellow appearance, one of the yellowest ive seen. The taste has some fruity notes, followed by an aftertaste of malt. But it has a thin body, and a disapating head. Not the best brew, but not the worst either. Very drinkabe and above average for its class.
