Bottle from Sainsburys, Charles Wells version. Gold, thin short white head and moderate condition. Low grain and slight fruitiness in the nose, a little butteriness in the mouth with a gentle chalky hop note and a short sweet finish wiith a hint of flowery hops.

Not much to this brew. Easy to drink with a good, if not a bit boring, taste. Nothing stands out, but it isn’t bad.

Mostly grain and some sweet malts, no real hops to speak of. Unimpressive pale lager, but not awful like some.

Brewed under licence by Charles Wells. You buy an exotic imported beer with dragons and Japanese characters only to find it was brewed in the English Midlands half a mile from your front door. Pale yellow with a lot of fizz. Yeasty aroma and an unusual sourness in the taste. Not the worst ever international lager.
