2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
From an 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with a "Freshest Taste Within 180 Days Bottled Date," 27/Sept/05. Made an average appearance, poured a marco lager golden with a small foamy white head that slowly reduced to a fine lacing. Had an macro lager aroma,
grassy, rice grainy and pale malts, like a Budweiser. Moderate carbonation and
a slick light bodied mouth feel, easy
drinkability. Had your basic macro lager taste, a little grassy hop bitterness,
some rice graininess, bland pale malts
and a crisp finish with some grassiness
lingering in palate, smooth tasting
overall. This is your average macro lager in all aspects. Purchased as a single for $1.00 and I believe I was slightly overcharged considering what a six of Budweiser goes for.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Sharp aroma typical of lagers but with heavier hops than most American versions. Pale gold body with a light white head. Thin taste similar to Budwiser (not coincidental given this is brewed by their company for the US). No malts at all and heavy hop notes in the ending.

Golden. White head. Sweet little bready aroma and taste. Watery. Not again...

about as good as a pale lager can get which is still not good. Light, crisp, and clean. Not worth trying.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
24 oz. can. Woot! Nothing too impressive about this beer, other than the aftertaste. Drinkable, but I won’t go looking for this beer.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Light golden, small white head. Sweetish, malty aroma, some corn. Weak malty flavor, some fruit. Thin and boring.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle: Not much to talk about as far as aroma. Decent head with little carbonation. This is the Miller Light of Japan. Really bland and watery

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Draught. Gold colour with thin white head. Some dead pale malt aroma, some odd citrus fruit. Can I taste rice and maize? Certainly some adjuncts in this. Then a sickly prickly finish. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Too gassy and flavours are indistinct

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Draught. Ok, let keep this simple. This tastes like corn and sugar. Corn and sugar. Not even fresh corn. Canned corn and sugar. It’s not good.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Large bottle @ I Love Sushi in ABQ, NM. Large white, frothy head atop a clear yellow body. Not that much aroma to pass along.. some grains, but that’s it. Light, unobtrusive flavor, but nothing special (definately not Special Premium Reserve quality). Yes, this does put out the fire of oriental spices, but not much more.
