This brew poured a medium head of fine to medium sized white bubbles that quickly disappeared and a carbonated weak straw yellow body. It has a strong hop aroma and a fizzy hop flavor without much character. This brew is not impressive in the least.

Part II of the courageous "Free on the Plane, Wouldn't have it Otherwise" endeavour...A faint cereal aroma accurately predicts dry cereal flakes...Other than the sticky lacing, there is nothing tastebud warming about this bucket of swill...

24 oz. can. No longer brewed in Japan, this crap is now brewed in Los Angeles California, by none other than good old Budweiser. No wonder it tastes exactly like a Bud. Pours out a piss yellow color, with no head to speak of. Sugary aromas, no hop aromas or flavors in here at all. Tastes more like a malt liquor than a lager. I won't be buying this again, that's for certain.

hoppy start and clean finish. leaves my mouth feeling very clean, almost no after taste. flavor is light, but very unique. very light on the palate. overall I would sat that this is a great beer to drink with food, it would also be great after a hard work out or bike ride.

Efficient is the word that springs to mind. Clean, unassuming. If given this beer I would greet it with a mild thanks rather than HAI.

Not overly good looking, but acceptable for a lager, with medium gold color and a decent white head. Aroma is also middle of the road, typical lager. The flavor is almost non-existant here. Not crisp like american standards/lights...just kind of bland and flat. Not a very good lager at all.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2006 Smells very bad, ricey almost. Head is also very bad. The beer is decent, with a pretty dry finish. Funny to see a born-on date. Old rating (back when I was a novice) 5,3,6,4,13Orangish color, little head. Much better than Sapporo. Nice. Good finish, but still just an average beer.

Very good with my very good Japanese dinner. Pretty crisp as expected, better quality than most in that it didn't break down upon warming.

Pale yellow orange. Thick but diminishing foamy head. Intricate lacing. Grainy aroma with a hint of cut grass. Mostly flavorless. Very slightly sweet some earthy notes. Quick, clean finish.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2008 Not too bad for a ’standard’ beer. Not much aroma, but the taste is a bit bitter, which really is a good thing.
