Finest barley malt, premium hops, smooth finish, no bitter aftertaste.

Editor's Note: Also brewed in the US: "Anheuser-Busch began brewing Kirin Lager, Kirin Ichiban and Kirin Light at its Los Angeles brewery in 1997. The agreement marks the first time Anheuser-Busch has produced foreign brands for sale in the United States."

Almost no aroma. Light in colour, flavour and bitterness, and has no aftertaste. It is highly carbonated. Actually made under licence by Lion-Nathan, this is sort of an Australian version of a Japanese imitation of an American Standard.

Had this on my seventh wedding anniversary for good fortune...pale yellow, highly carbonated, started out with a large head that quickly fizzled out, no lacing, mild/almost nonexistant aroma, a tinge of hoppiness with a sweet finish. Not impressive, but better than most other widely available lagers.

Not a bad lager, just doesn't do enough to distingish if from a lot of the other mass produced dreck. Beer pours golden with big fluffy head. Beer is yellow, but not fizzy. Head almost completely dissipates, but there is moderate lacing. Aroma is very light floral hops. Taste follows, initially lightly sweet followed by a dash of hop bitterness. Good for mass produced beer. Not good by other standards.

not bad at all. Almost what an american standard ought to be. full bodied, nice hop taste, very refreshing, a little bloaty, but i'm drinking it fast. was better cold at the top of the glass.

I didn't think this was too bad. I looked at the date at the bottom of the can and it was brewed in August 02 (last year) inspite of that, and to my surpriise that it is an Anheirser Bush product, it was actually an OK beer. I'd certainly drink it again as a nice thirst quencher on a hot day. The 24 oz can I had poured with ample carbonation. Light straw yellow which looked weaker than it tasted. Nice head at first which quickly dissapaited with not much lacing. I hate to admit this about any AB product, but I'd definitely drink this again.

another beer with a thin, white head and little carbonation. however, it still has a nice, bubbly palate. there's a slight corn aftertaste...

This lager poured a small white head with fine-small bubbles that quickly dissolved. There was no lacing on the sides of my glass. There was a lot of carbonation observed rising to the top. The body was gold in color. There was a bitter taste and an aftertaste observed with this lager. This lager lacked character and I was not impressed with this lager.

This brew poured a medium head of fine to medium sized white bubbles that quickly disappeared and a carbonated weak straw yellow body. It has a strong hop aroma and a fizzy hop flavor without much character. This brew is not impressive in the least.

Part II of the courageous "Free on the Plane, Wouldn't have it Otherwise" endeavour...A faint cereal aroma accurately predicts dry cereal flakes...Other than the sticky lacing, there is nothing tastebud warming about this bucket of swill...

24 oz. can. No longer brewed in Japan, this crap is now brewed in Los Angeles California, by none other than good old Budweiser. No wonder it tastes exactly like a Bud. Pours out a piss yellow color, with no head to speak of. Sugary aromas, no hop aromas or flavors in here at all. Tastes more like a malt liquor than a lager. I won't be buying this again, that's for certain.
