I was surprised by this beer. Even though it is a japenese one I still have only two eyes and no tentacles, no Fukushima damages in brewery!. Out of jokes, it is a good lager which I encourage you to taste.

Bottle from Seoul Plaza. Brewed and bottled in Weihenstephan, Freising. Clear golden colour, quite stable head - probably resulting from heavy use of hop extracts. Overpasteurised aroma, raw grainy notes, metallic extract. Taste confirms everything from aroma and adds a thing or two of its own. Unpleasant metallic twang, raw grainy taste, only faint notes of what might have once been hops. Astringent. Lowly industrial beer prototype.

Used this one to cook some beer, mixed 50-50 with Carolus Tripel so hopefully the dish won’t be ruined. Pours a clear pale gold with a rachitic white rim that leaves some lacing. Nose is of cereals and adjuncts, not too bad. Taste is of lightly sweet cereals and not hoppy at all indeed. Slight husky feel in the finish. Body is light and carbonation medium-high. Overall it wasn’t too bad but I won’t come back to it for sure.

Light retention and no lacing. Smells of grass, sweet biscuit and lemon. Tastes of lemon grass and malty grain. Yeasty aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aparência: rótulo chamativo; espuma fugaz; coloração dourada translúcida. Aroma: comum. Sabor: adocicada, não como uma Malzbier, mas diferente; será o arroz? Só para conhecer, não troco uma Heineken por ela.

I was excited at first. But wait, it’s an A-B product? Whether in whole or in part, it’s not exactly what you want from a beer that you think is an import. That’s one strike before the bottle is opened. It pours with a thin head. Not much of an aroma, a little citrusy, a little spicy, but that’s about all. The color is a little lighter than I excpected, not quite straw, but not amber. First sip is actually pretty good, but after a couple, it becomes slightly bitter, and not in a good way. It has a heavy mouthfeel, somewhat strange. Interesting. The label and the name is what caught my eye. Worthy enough to try, but not to buy again,
