Pint on draught at Extra Virgin Pizza, Singapore. Good head and carbonation. Nice golden amber colour. Light malt, but not much else on the palate. Close to a pretty standard commercial pilsner, but a good effort. Safe choice.

(10Feb2003--12oz.bottle) Ho hum. The 2.38 number here (as of 11Feb2003) is about right, perhaps a bit high. Decidedly small, quickly receding head. Inactive carbonation leaves the beer on the flat side. Light hop aroma...well, very light. Dry body, light, sweet fruit, with some proteins to fill the mouth. In summary: fairly unoffensive.

fairly bland but with just enough malt to put it ahead of the other Japanese lagers I’ve tried. Good with sushi.

bottle. big white head with a clear gold color. Grainy hop aroma. Grainy taste. Corn? Rice? Flavor so light I really can’t tell. ever so slight bitter aftertaste. nothing repulsive, nothing great. Take it or leave it.

on tap at Busch Gardens - had no idea what I was ordering, at the time I thought it might actually have some character compared to their other offerings, but I was wrong and very disappointed. Light, fizzy and mostly flavorless. Pretty much the same yellow stuff that AB sticks in a host of blue & red cans. Not even satisfying when your chugging everything in sight in the hopes that you can forget that your outside walking in circles with thousands of other people for no reason.

12 oz bottle. Pours a piss yellow color with a small white head. This one taste mostly water but a slightly fruit taste to it. It’s smooth with no aftertaste, but nothing about it stands out significantly.

Poured from a small can. Brilliantly clear with nice head and good lacing. Aroma is slightly grassy. Body is medium and bigger than expected with light bread notes. A pleasant lager beer at a very reasonable price.

The smooth taste and mild aroma goes perfect with sushi. Otherwise, hyst a regular lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I havent had many Japanese beers to compare this to, but I thought it was decent. Pour is clear yellow-orange with a lot of carbonation. Fresh smell. taste is slightly bitter, rice, wheat, little hops. Little to no aftertaste. I drink this any time Im eating sushi, which this beer goes great with.

Not terrible considering this beer is associated with Anheuser Busch, but not great. It’s got a little of that dry Asian beer tast. But the flavor is still lacking.
