Bottle. Slight unclear with a white fading head. Fruity malty aroma. Thin palate. Taste is again quite fruity & fresh. Its thin like a lot of other mainstream lagers but it doesnt have Grain/corn & hay all over it. Light hops in the end! Drinkable!

Draught. Gold colour with thin white head. Some dead pale malt aroma, some odd citrus fruit. Can I taste rice and maize? Certainly some adjuncts in this. Then a sickly prickly finish. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Too gassy and flavours are indistinct

Bottle at home. Light yellow - white head. A very watery beer. Light malty, "vegetable", sweetness, some hop !?!! Not much of anything.

yngwie (13346) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 30, 2007
Bottled. Clear, almost golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is weak, with just some fruity notes. The flavor is weak as well, with some fruityness, hops, grass and malty hints. Medium body and a hop-fruity finish. Could’ve used a lot more of everything. (070106)

Pale yellow, small white head. Weak maize-corn, malty nose. Quite light palate.Sweet fruity maltyness. Also aftertaste is sweetish malty. Somewhat you can expect from Asian pale lager.

Oakes (12352) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 11, 2004
Deep gold colour (like a Bohemian pils). No real head, though. Slightly malt and oily, but only slightly so, like a very light Bohemian pils. Moderate body. Much softer than the regular Kirin Lager (which I just had). Maltiness dominates, but is not particularly well-extracted. Light grassy bitterness and continental hop undertones complement the malts. Not bitter enough to be a proper pilsner, but it has many of the same components. Decent.

(Bottle, at Thai restaurant) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Light aroma of corn grain and rice. Flavor of bland hops and some sweetness with a watery mouthfeel.

(Paired with sushi) Clear golden body with small white head. Aroma is light and sweet, some bread. Taste is light, sweet and watery. Minimal bitterness that's in the swallow. It's not bad, but it's certainly not worth seeking out.

Bottle from BevMo. Bottled on 03OCT08. Gold color with a substantial white head. Aromas of honey and fruit. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is clean with some grassy hop. That touch of honey - flavor, not sweet - stays to the end. It is just a bit bitter in the finish. AB does a great job, just not very picky about which job, but this is a good thing.
